I think yes. Firstly, let me illustrate my words.


She is angry here. It is not wrath yet, but she is angry. It is only the second time when we see her like this: the first one was at winter festival when Eri made fun of Tenma.

If we assume that she is angry then the question comes: why" What is the reason?
My answer is: because she started her battle against Eri. And in the middle Eri appeares and starts to alk to her offensively. And Yakumo answers - calmly, but (at list i feel it like that) agressively. She sows that she won't hold back against Eri, that she is serious this time and will fight till the end.

here you make it clear that Yakumo will do her best against Eri. ok. there's no anger. she's just decided. seems you have forget how she look when she's provoked.

so that not the same eyes. and well Eri has do nothing against Tenma here or Harima. Now what's the motivation of Yakumo ? harima ? Tenma ? HarimaxTenma ? other ?

I'd like to think that this is a sign of her starting to finally act according to
her own will,rather than thinking trough Tenmas point of view.

I think that what she meant was along the lines "You don't understand him
the way I do" which IMO at the moment is true.She has quite keen insight
on Harima (maybe cause they have been working together guite much?)

@rikem: Right now Eri haven't done anything against Tenma or Harima - thats true. But she has against Yakumo. Yakumo is fighting for herself, not for others.

And about your picture - her eyes are, well, not very kind as well. Maybe it's only me though. Who see it like that.

Motivations:
- Hanai: he is here to eat shrimp and (maybe) to make another move on Yakumo.
- Harima: he is for Tenma. He hates shrimp (if only It is not modified by Yakumo) so there is no other reason for him to be here.
- Eri: hates shrimp too, the only reason - Harima. But looks like she is gonna fail, since Yakumo looks better equipied at her "home stadium".
- Tenma: shrimp and friends. He considers Harima only as friend and is too blin to see his feelings. And, for the same reason, she can't see Eri vs Yakumo action too. BTW i wonder why she is not feeling a bit lonely - Karasuma isn't there after all
- Tenma X Harima: Kenji must be thinking that he is succseseful till now, since he not only came but is able to see Tenma's glad smile (he was able to eat that horrible shrimp with the help of Imouto-san(!)). Though Tenma don'e care about their "relationship" which exists only in Harima's head.
- Mikoto: shrimp and friends. No love reason here.
- Akira: shrimp and fun: she must have predicted Eri vs Yakumo battle and now is enjoying it.

I agree with you here. He knows Harima better which is a huge advantage comparing to Eri.

so she's fighting for herself... ok. and the link with onigiri ?

Onigiri = Yakumo X Harima; when she is fighting for herself she is fighting for onigiri too automatically.

Right now both Eri (flag) and Yakumo (onigiri) have zero chances in geting Harima coz he still thinks only about Tenma. But if Flag is fighting in this condition, then Onigiri, started doing something even pointless, can be considered as a fighting fraction too. I repeat for now no matter what they do it is pointless. Though whne Odou finally crushes all this "points" made now will be remembered by harima and will play their role.

hmm... a no way deal. If it's all, i'm wrong.

Yakumo is like "dog" on a haystack. She herself do nothing for approach to Harima and she prevent Eri to do her move to Harima.

Yeah it's not just you who sees it that way.But I think that this time the
motive is totally diffrent than last time.Back then she was angry cause Eri
Made fun of Tenma,this time it's personal.


Rather than strange I think that it's a long process that has been going on
troughout the series.It's just that finally she is starting to take it seriously.
I think that it just took her some time to get her feeling straight and make
the decision to go for her own intrest rather than always going Tenma first

1. First meeting with the ghost girl (no feelings for anyone)
2. First meeting with Harima (She meets someone whos mind she cannot read)
3. Camping (First attempt to approach H stopped by Tenma )
4. Starts drawing manga with H (every onigiri fan remembers b21 right?)
5. Cultural play (dark witch tries to wake the "princess" )
6. Second meeting with ghost girl

And I think that after she met the ghost again she made her mind.Because
after the second meeting we see her buying Harima a birthday present and
even trying (though failing) to give him valentines chocolate.This time she
is not giving up on Eri

"We don't have a special relationship.You said it but is that what you really
mean?" and "Enjoy staying in that lonely world" is what the ghost girl told
her.Maybe she decided that she doesn't want to stay alone forever?

actually, i saw the "harima san loves shrimp" eyes as an "i know him better than you do" kinda eyes
