Japanese males and females uses different spoken languages. Unfortunately for us, we cannot see this in Manga that are translated into English.

..One I thought I may try to learn Japanese.... but that idea just dissapeared.
I admire non-japanese guys who learnt the alphabet (haragana, kanji, katakana and stuff). You had more learning-push power than me.

I met a guy in Oxford Univ. who was talking really good (Japanese of course) and he was english. He said it took him only 3 years to learn it fluently... then I notice I was surrounded by cyborgs and non-humans... scary

^ hopefully they do but I haven't read any of the two chapters. I'm avoiding the summaries they tend to be inaccurate.

hiragana and katakana is very easy to learn. just a bit of practise is more than enough. it took me around a week to learn hiragana and katakana took me a lot longer (japanese people uses too many shortcuts =_=)

kanji is in a different level. this is were I stopped >_<"

^ well I was self-taught and my level is equivalent to a kindergartener so basicallly I suck. >_<"

but if your studying from a college or a uni. give it a try. its nice to learn different languages. its easier for me to learn japanese cause some words and language application is closer to my first language. Filipino. ^^

Good for you, I kinda can't find any resemblance in Polish and Japanese

    Czujesz się dobrze ?
    Daijobu ?

    ....freaking language...

Oh, those monsters in that Uni can do everything - I feel really..small there. You know, 3 years to just learn everything you need to talk Japanese and get the certificate...

3 years... sounds about right but at my uni you have to pay $500 a semester and since there's 2 semesters a year that's $3000 just to learn Japanese Fluently... I dunno if I want to pay $3000 to learn a language...

    $3000 for a language course. =_="

well it is better to learn from a uni than self-studying. I just don't have enough will power to keep studying.... but $3K. I'd rather buy some dvds and mangas with that. how many box sets and volumes is that. ^^
