maybe, well if KJ would make c and d chapters for Ichi and Miko then i would be fine lol kinda like how b chapters are for Yakumo
Miko-chan, a martial artist.
Ichi-san, a pro-wrestling.

They were for Yakumo at the beginnih\ng, when she was not a possible pair for Harima. Then they became for all other chracters, Madoka and Shigeo for example or Akira's storys.
Just make more b for them! They are interesting characters so it won't be a waste at all
thats true i forgot b chapters started doing other characters after a while, it was predominantly Yakumo though
Yeah, and both meatings with Ghost Girl (too many names too choose one) occure there. So you probably can say that Yakumo's character was developed in b-chapters while Eri's - in main.
BTW both Ichi's and Miko's moments were mostly in main chapters. A kind of strange don't you think?

yea im not sure what the deal with having Yakumo moments happen in b chapters half the time
I have a different theory to b chapters. B chapters are the last chapters in manga, place where author of manga normally writes "I still have few pages left so I will give you this". Kobayashi is (in my opinion) have a master plan in what chronology those chapters should be. It's true some characters with minor appearance where mostly seen in b chapters, because those chapters 'refill' our information in what happened in main story.
example: after reading b chapter, we understand why Shigeo was so angry at Harima after his pig knocked him down, but it wasn't really important that time
example 2: we knew that Yakumo and Harima relationship got deeper after they all night work, but in B- chapter, after we read the chapter from main plot we get even stronger feeling that Yakumo-chan has feelings for Harima (and explains the motorcycle plot)
So b chapters are at the same importance as main story in my opinion, the trick used is chronology![]()
ive noticed that the b-ch ususally do explain things that happen in the main story a little better by taking us to a certain event instead of just hearing about it from one of the characters or showing us a different perspective on an issue
This thread turned to some "What is B-chapters purpose?" disscussion. It must be some part of an an essey Kolox started to wright back then...
What about Ichi and Miko? This is there homethread after all.
