Characters' parent ? Where are they ?
Now we talk about all char's parent. I rarely saw them in manga or anime. However, there are some hints or probability they do exist. I have read the manga twice and watched the anime. Therefore, i can conclude as follows:
For Tenma and Yakumo: (Father probably is deceased. Mother ? Dont know)
I never able to find their parent's whereabout. There are two hints about their parent. First, Yakumo remember when she was a little girl and she had a memento (a book) from her father which i can assume her father is dead. Second, when she see Harima's back and then she suddenly she feel like she see her Father (the atmosphere just like she already not see him for a very long time, a nostalgic atmosphere). And i can assume now 100% her father is dead. But how about their mother ? I never other that Yakumo and Tenma living at their home.
For Harima: (Probably healthy and alive)
The only prove of Harima's parent is from the anime. Itoko mentions that Harima leaves his house to live by himself, so i can assume Harima's parent is alive and healthy. And his brother must be staying with his parent and he visits Harima occasionaly.
For Eri: (Father works at another country, Mother too)
From early chapter, we can see her father's head (not full figure, though) and her father go to another country for working. Later on, we are introduced for her mother. Remember the marriage thing for Eri? And she mentions that her mother works at Swiss.
For Suou: (Father probably stays with her, but her mother ???? where is she)
I see several time a old guy when Suou has some kind of party in early chapter and newer chapter. The one which asks Eri to be his girlfriend (of course, he is not serious). However, she never acknowledge him as father, not ever call him "Dad" or "Father" or something like that. And I never see her mother, or someone to be recognized as her mother EXCEPT from Hanai's childhood moment where her mother told her to go home because she got sick. But at later chapter, i never her at all. So Suou's parent is still a mystery, the same with Tsukamoto's parent.
For Hanai: (Father probably still alive, and also mother)
From his childhood moment, we can see Hanai's father but at later chapter we never see him at all. And Hanai never call him as father or something from his childhood moment BUT from the dialogue, i can assume HE is Hanai's father. And for his mother....... u remember from his childhood moment with Suou, where Suou call him outside his house ? I absolute sure that women who tell him that Suou wait for him outside is his mother
For Akira: (Complete mystery)
Not much i know about her. I dont know how is her house environment or her relatives. So i cant say much about her parent
I only discuss Main Characters here. Like Tenma, Harima, Yakumo, Eri, Hanai, Suou and Akira.
Anybody can give additional information for their parent ?
