Thread: Characters' parent ? Where are they ?

so he has been living with Itoko that long? i cant imagine where else he would be able to stay
did Itoko ever mention how long he had been with her?

He met Tenma not that long ago. Probably it happend right befor the beggining of the story. In the second chapter of manga he mentions that he has reborn. And the couse of that reborn was his falling in love with Tehma wich means tht they met not very long ago.

well i know he met her before either of them were in high school so they atleast had met a while before then but i forgot exactly how long (i vaguely remember 2 years, but im probably wrong)

It would be funny If Harima parents were actually responsible and succesful (not poor but not rich, the middle class). And the reason why Harima left is because he couldn't fit into this family, morover his parents had never time for him because they always worked .

FALSE PREDICTION : On the latest chapter, Harima parents will return to home and ask Harima little brother (What was his name??)
P:"Where is Harima??"
H,L,B: "You didn't know ?? He left like one year ago and he was living at Itokos place"
P:" WTF !!??"

And the parents arrives....
P.S: H.L.B is of course "Harima Little Brother", wher P is for Parents

if they didnt have time for him and worked too much i can assume they might be atleast middle class, then again Harima definetely doesnt look as if he came from that type of family lol

I'm gonna answer that question "Where did Tenma & Yakumo's parents go?". Here it is...

Tenma's parents are Yakumo and Harima. I'll explain:

Yakumo isn't Tenma's sister. She came from the future to watch over Tenma because they have reason to believe that she had created a Time quake around 2 years ago (was it 2 years ago when Harima saved her? uh not sure but around that time). But it didn't go smoothly, Karasuma a humanoid interface sent by an Alien Intelligence Entity also came to earth to watch over Tenma. He tried to manipulate everyones memory so that he can easily infiltrate earth's society. Specially influencing both Tenma, Yakumo and Harima. Now Yakumo whos memory was altered began to believed that she is Tenma's sister and so does everyone else but Yakumo meeting Harima who was one of the cause of the so-called-event has slowly awakened her memory and with Karasuma's help their were able to travel back further into the past and prevent the real source of the time/information fluctuation (Tenma was like an amplifier but not the cause). Now Karasuma was able to get back to the future but Yakumo and Harima weren't so they had decided to live in the past and later on has gotten married. They had decided to name their daughter "Tenma".

I preferred Haruhi version with sleeping in the same bad for 4 years to actually learn that the trigger to the event which Haruhi performed could be Kyon, who went back in time with Mikuru

Harima has incest-fetish ?
Yakumo --> Agent unrelated to Tenma
Karasuma mind change --> Yakumo believes that she is Tenma sister
Yakumo and Harima go past in child --> They have a kid called Tenma
Yakumo agent comes to past to investigate Tenma (time laps) --> Tenma's mother is the same Yakumo but 17 years older
Yakumo believes she is one of Tsukamoto's - Harima and Yakumo are the parents - Harima (present) has feelings for Tenma (INCEST!!)

LOL! oh yeah forgot about the whole Harima -> Tenma

I was quite amazed in Haruhi's novel that after sleeping 4 years in the same bad, Mikuru didn't get pregnant. Kyon seems to be a weak player...

Your theory explains some things :
1) Harima's resemblence to Tenma's father
2) Yakumo's love to her father is the same to Harima, who actually is her husband
3) Tenma genetics..come on, she is Harima's child - I always thought such stupidity and clumsiness is genetic.
