Thread: Anime to manga?

I've seen the anime and i think its horrible. So how does the manga compare to it. Is it really that good that it deserves a spot as a series chat?

The manga came before the anime, and has a different plot

The manga and anime are practically two different series. The manga is gazillion times better, and the anime is missing A LOT of stuff from the manga. If you want to give the anime a try then you should watch it before reading the manga.

i found the anime really crap. i only watched about 2 episodes but the half demon half human thing was really stupid! manga is waaay better but i find yuya really annoying

Much different? I saw the entire anime so I don't want to be reading it over again unless it's really different/better.

Well, the anime sure is a wrecked one, i tell ya.
But the manga is like the exact opposite of the anime:
It's great, has better plot and doesn't involve any demonic monster.
It's just great, totally worth to download!!!

Completely agree. The monsters that apparently was made out of samurais who got involved with the meteor explosion thingy on the battlefield was just plain stupid. Anime is boring, stupid, and looks so "oldfashioned" too. Manga on the otherhand is beautiful art, good plot/action, and nice action. You just can't compare the two; it's like comparing dogshit to steak.

The Manga is so much better than the Anime. I finised reading volume 20 then I looked for the anime and i watched one episode and I was like is this the same series, it was but the manga is so much better.

Read the manga!!! The anime is a bit of a disappointment. The only reason to watch the anime is to see the Kyo's skill in motion (still disappointing though).
