Whenever I see this title I can't help but compare it with Samurai X. For me the biggest fault of Samurai Deeper Kyo was it's limited fight scenes. For me it has always been the same, Demon Eyes Kyo comes out then he uses the "wind thingy" or sometimes "the flaming phoenix thingy" then wins. At least in Rurouni Kenshin the fight scenes last for quite a while and Battousai isn't that UBER. Hard as it may sound I'm only giving this series a 2/5.

Samurai Deeper Kyo is one of the best mangas out there! i just love it even though its true that it gets repetitive after a while but still its awesome!
