I'm glad this crappy series is over. I loved this manga at the start but it turned into pure garbage later on. So disappointed.

Hmm, true, but I am sad the series ended so unexpectedly. It gave up the chance for some last-minute gains to make up for the crap the series turned into. What a pity.

Edit: Some incoherent dumbass beat me, so I was agreeing with Newbie for clarification.

It was alright for me... although the super saiyan shits just bugs me to no end... *shivers* its just toooooo stupid for me... and theres no explanation on how that god of child can make you lose your senses.... totally unbelievable.... became to shounen in the end.... =/

well it was blast, but agree with yah folks the series did become crap. i was expecting a lot more from teni muhou, only us being told that there was no such thing as a teni muhou. and from yuki to come up with creative shots. well ever since i became a real tennis fan i liked the series less and less. but still credit to the mangaka. the series was good overall.

i was talking about the series like this because i was utterly disappointed. i thought of more things to come for this manga but it ended so suddenly. hope a manga about pro tennis will come so that the grandslams, the atp masters series and other tourneys could get introduced.

I love the Prince of Tennis and still do.

I actually liked the Pinnacle of Perfection.

I now realize now that I have been playing/thinking tennis too seriously, being scared to miss shots in matches, always stressing to get better and not lose but, forgetting why I play, for fun.

The Prince of Tennis to me made me love tennis more. It was fun.

Well series was at it's best till the nationals. Even then it kept quite a good level whole way to Higa Chuu match. Than there was an average fight against Hyoutei Gakuen. Semifinals and finals are downslide and betrayal to what was left of previus semi-realistic way tennis was portrayed. Of course we were presented with some stupid moves earlier like the Kikumaru Kage Bunshin no Jutsu, but seriously: prediction, Tezuka's Phantom, Fuji's new counters and of course Yukimura and his sense crippling. Give me a break, it's disappointing how far it derived from rality. And I mentioned like half examples from those two matches. But series overall is quite good and even bad last moments doesn't change it too much.

the series ended and im pretty sad... i mean, 3 chapter for teni'mohou and it totally crushed yukimura... it made a unnecesary suspense... making people think that yuki will somehow win some points against the last door, i really expected a 7-6 since it was rhe last match in the series.... another thing to say is that ryoma never facer his father.. konomi didnt explain how yukimura is able to remove your senses away, althrought tezuka lost to sanada... he deserved a better final after the nationals. The series were good until certain point as many other say. Then it became crappy, but even if that were a very far from reality tennis, it deserved a better final. Konomi was rushed because he needed to finish the manga in such a short period of time, since the ovas for the finals are coming in april 25th. The funny part of this(at least for me) is that horio isn't a regular yet, and ryoma should at the size of momoshiro by now, but they didn't show it.
