Thread: (Fuji> Niou) == (Fuji> Tezuka)?

Do you think Fuji's inevitable victory over Niou means he has surpassed Tezuka, or no?

I wouldn't buy it right now because Niou doesn't compare to Tezuka and I think he's using tricks to make an illusion of him equalling Tezuka rather than actually being equal.

Now that you brought it up, I think the problem lies in the fact that Fuji has never beaten Tezuka, and that Niou impersonating Tezuka is bringing Fuji's mentality down. Let's not forget, tennis is a mental game.

Then again, even Niou's teammates were surprised at Niou.

However, to answer your question, I have to say 'no', Niou was skilled at suckering people into his pace, and that's what I believe he's doing now.

Trying to use this type of logic in PoT is only going to fry your brain.

Ryoma > Atobe was beating Sanada > Tezuka, therefore Ryoma > Tezuka. I'd rather not think of crazy stuff like this.

No. Nio is imitating Tezuka but it doesn't mean he's playing as good. Like when he pretended to be Yagyu, he was hitting the Laser Beam but not as fast.

That logic fails since Sanada who was beaten by Atobe wasn't nearly as strong as the Sanada who beat Tezuka. You have to keep all of their abilities relative to a certain timeframe. In this case, that timeframe would be the most recent chapter.

Well it's said that every player on there team is tezuka level, but I dont buy that.

I think fuji will surpass tezuka in this match, but it won't be confirmed until tezuka himself says so.

then if tezuka admits it... not like other times when others said that he surpassed tezuka.. but answering to the main question from this thread... fuji beating niou isnt like fuji surpassing tezuka, niou is not skilled as tezuka. but he is using his techniques very well .. now is surprising how many people from pot can copy techniques

But,seriously, if Tezuka himself says Fuji has surpassed him, will you accept it?

If Tezuka says so, then either it's true or he's doubting himself, I'll do the latter (i.e. refuse to accept it) since I already decided to pretend the finals never happened.

BTW, how many copy ninjas do we have now? I remember the peon Kabaji (i.e. the original copycat), the cheat sheet user Koshimae, the dickhead Kirihara, the king Atobe (to an extent), the psychic Chitose, the gay Hitouji and now the Tezuka wannabe Niou. That's 7, am I missing anyone?
