Thread: (Fuji> Niou) == (Fuji> Tezuka)?

Great, so with this new chapter it is basically confirmed that Fuji is stronger than Tezuka, since he owned him when they were younger. Even though It was when they were younger, winning 6-0 ... shows a lot of a difference in skill. Although I wonder why Fuji was grabbing Tezuka's shirt on one of the flashback pages looking angry? Maybe Tezuka wasn't trying?

^No. The new chap just stole a scene from the anime. In the other match, Tezuka's injury prevented him from playing well. Thats why we saw young Fuji grabbing Tezuka. I can't believe Konomi is seriously stealing from the anime. What crap.

well. if we mean to pot at all... that match ocurred in both anime and manga.. so is no a total stealing ... but they really are taking this singles 2 as if it were a real match between tezuka and fuji...

yea they are but that whole thing that if fuji>Niou doesnt make fuji>tezuka currently and i thought that konomi would have to at least approve of the thing the goes on in the anime he does own the copyright to PoT

yeah.. for that, fuji needs to play the real niou sometime in this match... and beat the crap of him , i wanted him to face akaya and beat his damn devil mode.

^Me too. I still can't believe Konomi copied his anime producers. Fuji would have to beat Niou under the Tezuka illusion to make the fight even meaningful.

The Tezuka illusion almost overshadowed Niou in this match, almost like fanservice that Fuji & Tezuka are on the spotlight. Hopefully, the next chapter will show Fuji and the real Niou actually battle it out.

I agree. That’s what I thought when I saw that chapter.

And if I were Fuji, I wouldn’t be that contented if I win because Niou is not Tezuka…

^I think its more the shortcut thing, but the fanservice explanation must be another reason Konomi is using this cheap tactic of ripping off the anime.
