Well, basically everything after the Kantou finals is filler. And even then a lot of things are inaccurate in the anime.

You can watch the OVAs which pick up after the series, and they try to keep consistent with the manga, although they do make up bullshit about Echizen returning and all so that they CAN be consistent.

    >_>

    I'm here for the pot.

Your last sentence is hard to understand.

You should have added on the end "so that they CAN be consistent with the anime-only stuff." That'd clear it.

Actually, everything from the beginning of the Rikkai arc in the anime is different from the manga. You should read from there for the truth till the end of that match, then switch to the ovas to catch up on the games in Nationals.

According to another post that war minded otaku made, aroud 235 is where Seigaku wins the Katou tournament. Around 150 is where the anime and manga start going in different directions. If you want to read the manga and watch the anime, that should give you a grasp of both, but if you don't feel like doing both, the manga is probably better. The anime fillers are quite bad... >.<

Or you could just read the whole manga like I did after watching and finding out that the anime wasn't very accurate.

    Here's what you do.

Watch episodes 103-104, see Echizen get raped by Sanada, then go to the manga.

^LOL, well those ARE the best episodes

Echizen must have done some serious working out, like fighting bears, to get up to Sanada's level.
