Yeah, I think they even mentioned that Hyoshi is most likely to be next in line for captain.

^ Then again, the other people who'll remain there for the next year are Otori and Kabaji, possibly the plainest players personality-wise on the whole series.

I think they mentioned that, too. I'll try to find it if I have time (highly unlikely). My guess is that it would be in the Ryoma vs. Hiyoshi match if they did mention it.

Wait, Kabaji is a sophomore?!

Apparently he is. All of the places with character profiles that I've seen say he's a 2nd year (which is junior, by the way). I thought he was a senior, too.

^I think they mentioned it several times that Kabaji was a sophomore, I'll try to find it. Hiyoshi or whoever becomes captain will probably be in charge of Kabaji the next year (hopefully Sakaki and Atobe are not stupid enough to give captainy to Kabaji).

He's so big for a sophomore. I'm kinda curious how big he was when he was a freshman. >.< He couldn't have grown THAT much... Although this is PoT. Anything can happen.

POT yearly growths have been noticably insane. Seeing Momo and Kaidoh from a year ago looks like 4 years younger than they are currently. And chibi Sanada, Tezuka, and Yukimura are way too small to have grown over 2x their original height in that time.
