Well after I read this match I got the impression that Rikkaidai lost the first 2 matches. What was the purpose of this? I remember Sanada saying that even one loss will not be permitted in nationals. So why did they lose those matches??

The purpose of losing the first 2 matches was to force Kirihara to go passed his limit.
Yeah. What Fayte said. That's kinda funny because that means Kirihara was the only one that actually had trouble against Nagoya since the first two matches were lost on purpose.
Probably because Kirihara was the last to improve.
Maybe, but I'm a little surprised because he was supposed to be pretty good already. There shouldn't have been such an obvious gap in ability, even if he is the only second year.
Well despite being good, he was still only on the Kantou level. If you want to take it deeper, Sanada is really the one who was the last because he didn't improve at all since Kantou.
maybe they lost their two matches on purpose because they wanted to show those foreign players the power of japans jr champions by lettting them win the 2 first matches and then overpowering them..but as kitsune said before, only kirihara had problems.... because he was losing so bad, with blood included..
Yeah, well Sanada already had Rai coming into the Nagoya match so I still think Kirihara was the last to improve.
Yes, but Sanada didn't improve since Kantou. Kirihara was the last to improve because Sanada didn't improve at all.
Uh.... Sure.... I believe you? *is too tired to argue* I'm curious to see what Kirihara's going to do in the finals.
