let's wait till I can play tennis well.
Too bad POT will end by the time that happens.
is the tezuka zone possible in the real life??... i mean, i saw a soccer video where roberto carlos(Player from brazil) makes a super strong shot and it made a very violent curve.. so in theory i think if you hit the ball with the part that is near the edge of the racket you can aply spin to the tennis ball just like you aply spin to a soccer ball with your feets...i mean.. is physics teory and i want to ask if is possible to aply that kind of spin to a tennis ball with a racket..in order to make a move similar to a tezuka zone
Not really for tennis. Its much easier to spin larger balls since they have a larger surface area and can be manipulated by air resistance better to maintain that spin. In the tennis ball's case, its raw force is proportionally so much higher than the effect on air resistance due to a small surface area, its very hard to get a terrible amount of spin on a tennis ball.
so is not possible to do a snake shot.. :( im so sad
^I don't know whether snake shots are possible, but the manga referred to some buggy whip shot done by the pros a lot. The shots that are clearly impossible are the oblique curve ones like Fuji's counters or Tezuka Zone.
have any of you hit a ball with the edge of the racket.. does it have a special effect on the ball??
^I have. If you hit it dead on, then the ball will either go faster than normal or slow down due to the vibration put on the racket. If you glance it though, the ball will slightly curve when you hit it, but it is usually a lot weaker than normal.
