because surpassed means overpowering the other.. XD
isn't Sanada the one winning atm with 4-0?
yes, surpass someone means overpowhering the other, but sanada couldnt do anything against the R. tekuka zone... shall i say that tezuka surpassed sanada in the second half of the match???, winning a match doesnt necessaryly mean that u have surpass your oponent..
Tezuka is risking his arm in order to win. Sanada still has 2 techniques, so he is far from being pushed to his limit. Hence why Sanada has surpassed him.
Okay just to make it clear, I like both Sanada and Tezuka. I have to agree with Fayte, Sanada HAS surpassed Tezuka.
Tezuka has no other way to win but to risk breaking his arm. That clearly shows that Sanada has surpassed him.
Yes Tezuka has taken 4 straight games from Sanada but Sanada has yet to show off Rin and Zan and maybe something else.
Whether Sanada has surpassed Tezuka or not depends both on the result of the game and whatever Konomi makes the characters say about it afterwards.
yes, konomi is the one who decides, and im sure that we will hear from the emperor himself that he didnt surpass him...XD
An example of that would be when Inui defeated Renji, but no one in their right mind would say Inui surpassed him after what Inui said after the game, or Ryoma defeating Sanada, as we know Sanada held back.
An example of someone surpassing their opponent can be Ryoma - Atobe, probably. In fact, you can surpass your opponent and still lose - the Golden Pair did that when they achieved Synchro.
Lets not forget Tachibana and Chitose.
Yeah, I forgot about that.
In any case, I agree that logically, if Sanada's forced Tezuka to go this far, it means that he's surpassed him, but in the end it's up to whatever Konomi says.
