Before Ryoma and the rest of Seigaku can go off to the tournament they are stopped by the other countries who are mad at only Japanese people being chosen to represent the earth in tennis. However with conventional methods it would take a couple of months to hold a tournament so all worthy tennis players are dropped on an uncharted island with only their rackets. Here it is survival of the fittest and by that I mean the best tennis player.

Can't forget the explosive collars that all the players are forced to wear. If they decide to back out, they'll be assasinated.

Filler: Seigaku’s Past
The incident with Oishi’s father makes everyone else wonder about their own past, and each of them attempt to find out more about their families. This is the arc where all the hidden information about the family of the regulars are revealed by Ryuzaki. However, before she can do so, a sniper kills her.

This comes after the Infinity Crisis Arc and before the Retrieve Ann Arc.

4: Rescue President Bush Arc (Volumes 75 ~ 77)
Before the Seigaku regulars are given a chance to rest, the American tennis team (humbled and more respectful after their humiliating defeat at the hands of Seigaku in the Western Invasion Arc) and tell them that the US President Bush has been capture by Dick Cheney’s secret ninja assassins.
Instead of relying on the American Secret Services, America will instead ask a team of middle-school Japanese tennis players for help, considering them the people best fit for the job. Ryoma will lead the Seigaku team into America and eventually fight a death match will Dick Cheney, where a secret will be revealed – this was all actually a trick to celebrate Ryoma’s birthday!

Filler: Birthday Bash
Completely disregarding the fact that the trick to celebrate his birthday resulted in the deaths of many innocent people, ninjas and Dick Cheney, Ryoma will celebrate his birthday with the Seigaku regulars by doing something different, unique and totally unexpected – playing tennis. At the end of the party, Sakuno will confess her love to Ryoma, who promptly accepts and forgets about it, as he is prone to do. And being the idiotic, brainless, timid sap that she is, Sakuno will be content knowing that her feelings reached (in her mind) Ryoma’s heart.

Now, I can work on Volumes 102+ to get to the Universal Match! HA HA HA!

^Who'd want to rescue Dubya? You should have a celebration party for Bush's abduction that turns out to be Ryoma's surprise party instead.

Who knows? But this is Konomi. He's insane. So this is quite possible. XD

9: Teni-Puri Gathering Arc (Volume 102 ~ 120)
This arc deals with Ryoma going around Japan in order to gather the best of the best, creating a team of over 40 players, due to the high fatality rate of tennis matches. It is made up of generally individual chapters in which Ryoma or other Seigaku members go through trials in order to recruit other members.
The recruits most focused on are Sanada (Ryoma must defeat Sanada in a tennis match with a katana instead of a tennis racket), Yukimura (Ryoma must, by playing tennis, create a medicine that will help Yukimura recover completely from his disease), Atobe (Ryoma must go through a group of highly trained bodyguards in order to rescue Atobe, who is being held captive), Kintarou (Momoshiro must find Kintarou’s favorite video game), Tachibana (Fuji must teach Ann perfect English in a matter of days), Shiraishi (Kaidou must make Shiraishi a traditional Japanese meal), Akaya (Fuji must help Akaya get over the death of his grandfather), Kite (Inui must create a health drink that earns the approval of Kite’s grandfather, who is a master medicine making person thingy), etc.
In the end, the cast will be made up of the entire Seigaku team (sans Tezuka, making it , the entire Fudomine team (along with Ann, making it , the entire Shitenhouji team (, the entire Rikkai team (, the entire Hyotei team (along with Taki, making it 9), the entire Rokkaku team, part of Yamabuki (Sengoku, Akutsu) and part of St. Rudolph (Yuuta, Mizuki and Akazawa).

Whats up with Kaidoh's homemade meal for Shiraishi? Don't see where that's coming from.

If there is any inspiration at all, it's from the 10.5 chapter. Or the 20.5 one. Where we get to see Kaidou's family. What his mother thinks at the end. XD
