^Oiishi and Kawamura aren't mangaka errors. You have to have mediocre people in all mangas to set the exceptional people apart from them. You're right about the title going to Kawamura beating Oiishi in that category though.

Aww. Taka-san is a better tennis player than Oishi. Haha. That would be funny if Oishi was a manga-ka error. Poor guy.

Heym you know what I said was true. Even if you do like Taka's personality, his matches are undeniably more boring than practically anyone else's matches. Oiishi beats him for the simple reason that he's always in doubles and has Kikumaru to make their matches interesting and the whole total synchro thing.

Yeah. That's about it. I wouldn't miss it if Kikumaru played by himself. But if Oishi played singles, his match would be far more boring than Taka-san's. Taka-san's matches are okay when he plays with Fuji, too.

They should have spruced up Oiishi's story to make him more interesting. For instance, they could have made Oiishi's arm injury into an amputation and Oiishi would return to the Golden Pair after learning to play tennis with his left hand after one week of hardcore training with Kikumaru.

Lol! Amputation? Or they could just have him heal faster.... And completely... It's so annoying when it's "OH NO! HE'S NOT FULLY HEALED!" bit.... >.< Just like Tezuka's match. If he's still not fully healed I'm going to be so pissed off.

Isn't it kinda wierd how the POT level of tennis can bring players to their death, but not leave any permanent wounds or scars of any sort?

Not true. Kenshin has infamous X scar across his cheek, despite the fact that the manga had murders left and right.

That's just because they wanted to give Kenshin a scar.... I'm sure that he's gotten much worse wounds on his body, but that isn't scarred.... Mangakas only give characters scars to make them look "cooler" and give them a distinguishing mark.
