I started a new thread here, so I won't have to post in the new manga chapters section.
Man, it looked like atobe wasn't as good as he looked in the manga. Kinda dissapointed in konomi, atobe should still be capable of more than that. The match between golden pair vs silver pair was a bit weird. The eyes of eiji and oishi didn't match, but other than that, it was a fun match to watch.

Was that seriously the last OVA? there was no preview to the next one. If they stop right in the middle of the nationals that would be retarded.
I understand that a second set of OVAs will begin release on 22 June 2007, well that's what it said on Wikipedia, I'll have to try find a more reliable source.
The plan was originally to stop after 13 OVAs, so that could be it... But that's really annoying. Maybe they'll make an OVA for the OVA. Lol. I sure hope so. That's stupid that they'd stop with the quarterfinals. >.<

If they stop at 13 it wouldn't make sense. Why start showing Nationals if your not going to finish???? Episode 12 and 13 were goooodd.
Well, I think that's the reason they had the PoT OVAs to begin with. I'm sure it pissed off a lot of fans that the anime didn't even get to Nationals. Seigaku's entire goal was to make it to Nationals. But then again, I'm not sure what the animators were thinking. They stuck so much random stuff near the end of the PoT anime that it just got really stupid.
