The closest to Agon would be kintarou me thinks. Though I agree with the Tezuka/Shin relation.

Yeah, I agree, Fuji has got nothing on Agon. Agon was unstoppable for his time, Fuji just doesn't give off the same vibe of near invincibility Agon had.

Comparing PoT with Eyeshield 21? You need this? LOL...

Anyway, both Shin and Tezuka have the strength, power, intelligent, and everything else.

About Fuji=Agon, well, both of them are labelled as genius, but Agon is a perverted guy but Fuji isn't and Agon makes others fear him but Fuji not(I think).

Like I said before, just because someone isn't the best doesn't mean they're not a prodigy. I'm curious whether or not Tezuka and Ryoma would be considered prodigies. They work really hard, so they might be good through hard work rather than raw talent. Okay, maybe Ryoma would be, but would Tezuka? How much of his skill is from talent?
i think somewhere in the manga(or was it the anime) they mention something about echizen and tezuka both being prodigy. Fugi is definitly a prodigy hands down

well he's a prodigy since in the manga it was stated several times that he's a prodigy and since it's in the manga I wouldn't doubt it. Also half of these kids are depicted as being or seems to be better then professionals, while only being in middle school.

Well, being a "genius" means very little in the manga. In fact, in POT it can be construed as a bad thing since the "genius" is never among the best players of his team. Oshitari was surpassed by at least 3 people on his team, and Fuji has been surpassed by Echizen and Tezuka (up till now, perhaps).

kabaji doesnt look like he is superior to oshitari... neither ootori or shishido(only in doubles), kabaji would be superior if he used the techniques of other players when he is playing a diferent player(for example.. i didnt see him using hadoukyu during his match with tezuka) but if kabaji used hyakuren during a match with oshitari that would mean a game set for kabaji

That's just a minor technicality, but you get the idea. Tensai = 3rd or 4th best.
