i hope they win, or else i'll definately think that GP might be get in a quite depression. remember Eiji's promise; "to be #1 in nationals" he'd be disappointed. . .
and somehow that syncho fells like it's put in story so that; "look they might be losing all their games but they are the best pair in the story!so don't kill me!" XD i still like them though :3 and also, eiji could hit that that last ball and make it turn into a point, it was not that hard to do it i guess :P but a loss was needed so that our main boy Echizen could show up ne . . .

I like them, but at the same time, I was just really disappointed... >.< It's horrible how they're supposed to be "National" level, but they haven't won that many matches... Didn't they lose to Shishido and Ootori? >.< I'm hoping that Konomi-sensei is trying to build up suspense and make them win.

They did lose a bunch of games but they did put up a good fight. Just that Konomi sensei is too cruel to kill of this golden pair that easily. They should be national level double, right? They have gone through lots of troubles, including Oishi's injury, quarrell, Kikumaru's stamina problem, etc.
So, let's hope that they can gain experience from each fight they go up against and put a good fight in the final against Rikkai. But hopes are still hopes if the reality doesn't go the way.
Still, I think the golden pair doesn't really live up to their names. They need more wins to confirm their title.

But "putting up a good fight" isn't good enough. All the Prince of Tennis boys put up a good fight. That's not anything really special... It's how the Golden Pair thought to be so good, but they lose to teams that aren't famed.
-
so finals are with rikkai? it'll be fun XD GP lost to rikkai ne :3
i don't care how good they fight XD everyone tries their best :3 though my team loses to dream pair after having a good fight. . . (still sad about that result but that's how the story should be XD)(hmm yes i'm talking about my doujinshi XD sorry again XD)

Actually, I don't think it's been confirmed that they're playing Rikkaidai. Maybe it has. But I think that everyone thinks Rikkaidai is going to play Seigaku in the finals.

i'm still at 302 or so. i don't want manga to finish XD *giggle*

Me neither.... But PoT has to end sometime. The third years have to graduate. I'm going to be so sad when Tezuka graduates! ;_; DON'T LEAVE, TEZUKA-SAMA!! Haha. I've been so obsessive lately. I think it's because there's been so much discussion about Tezuka. I'm not usually this bad. Lol.

i really have no idea about education system in Japan ^^;
i really don't understand it when it's mentioned in manga either ^^;

What's your question? For Seigaku, it's a Junior High. That's 7-9th grade. High School is 10-12. After that, some people go to college if they can get in. College in Asian countries are really competitve, though.
