I'm not quite sure how Fuji is scarier either. Maybe it's because you never know if Fuji's going to be serious or not. Idk. Maybe.

In other words, it's basically what was said earlier about Fuji, only from Seigaku's side. I don't really think it means that he's better than Chitose, but more like how Fuji is a "scarier" opponent than Tezuka...(I don't really get why, but oh well...)
That doesn't really say who is stronger between Shiraishi and Chitose, though.

I personally feel that Shiraishi is the #1 player on Shitenhouji.

Maybe it's because they are overshadowed by the other player on their team, thus no one really focuses much on their gameplay. I could see where Shiraishi would be a scary opponent in the fact that there is no data on him whatsoever. I also believe, that Fuji is considered a scary opponent (now that I thought about it), because he's never really shown his true potential, thus no one really knows how far he can go...

I think Shiraishi could be considered a "scary opponent" because he's not very flashy with his tennis either. He's one of the few tennis players in PoT who doesn't have special moves that you can name. He just gets the ball over the net with precision.

My favorite part about him. And that he's from Osaka.

Yeah. It makes you respect Shiraishi, too. It must be kinda hard to win without special shots. He must have practiced more than the average player to get that good at the basics.
