Thread: Ryoma & Sakuno

Yeah... It would help if they cut Sakuno and Tomo out completely. Well.... Not really Tomo because no one likes her anyway. Sakuno and Echizen are too..... not romantically inclined. It just kinda makes for a weird relationship that can't even really be called a subplot.

I wouldn't care to cut the filler characters at this point. The only time it would have made sense to cut Sakuno, horio trio, the other noobz out is the beginning of the manga. Too late now.

No. I meant Sakuno and Tomo are completely useless to the plot. Lol. They could have been cut out of the series, and nothing would change.

You are correct...unless we see one of them killed during the next Ryoma match, lighting theflames of the seigaku players and leading them to Victory!

They're not completely worthless when there's a chance that fanboys might stop reading the series if they were taken out for good (I'm sure there are 12-year-old fanboys). And, um, the series might... end...

...think of it this way: Sakuno, at least, is doing SOMETHING to stop yaoi theories. Not much, but something.

She does about as much to stop the theories as when Konomi doesn't introduce another school.

Actually no. Because we still have the mass amounts of fan-fics being written and doujins being published whether or not there was a new school.
