PoT in English

..Whoa. There are so many flaws that my complaints can go on and on.
1) Ryoma is now pronounced ri-o-ma and not ro-ma. Also, Sasabe is pronounced sa-sa-be and not sa-sa-beh.
2) Sakuno's voice is more annoying than her idiotic actions.
3) Coach Ryuzaki sounds nothing like a woman in her 50's. Seriously. GET AN OLDER VOICE ACTRESS.
4) Ryoma says "please." Not only is he polite, it sounds like the voice actor/actress pauses inbetween words.
Yeah, I know, English-dubbed anime isn't even comparable to the original but even Naruto was better.

There's already a thread about the English dub on toonami jetsteam, so maybe we should move this discussion there. I kinda agree with you that I really didn't like the dub. Lets add that almost everything was pronouced wrong. They should all get kicked out of Seigaku for not even being able to pronounce it properly. And Ryuzaki is way too young sounding. I agree with you there. What bothered me most about Ryoma is that he always sounded sleepy.

Stop trying to compare it to the japanese version.

And Ryoma IS pronounced "Ri-oh-mah" Unless you don't know how to pronounce japanese names.
