Default Triple counters made sense (kinda) until the upgrades.

Hakugei worked when Fuji gave the ball an "extreme slice." Extreme is fucking right. The resulting ball has super backspin so much that the rotation forces the ball into the air, then when the wind pushes the ball out of it's momentum, gravity works on the ball to land on the opponent's baseline. However, the ball still has the super backspin right? So when it hits the opposite baseline it'll spin backwards back to Fuji.

Now this white dragon makes the ball fly to the side? Why? What happened to the backspin? I don't get that.

how about the Bear drop? Fuji would spin his body so that some centripital force would "nullify" (often times not nullifying) the force of a smash. I guess I could see how that works? Maybe the racket carries the ball for a while before the slice return.

Now the new one, Kirin drop has Fuji sitting in a crouch position and lifting the racket with both hand while facing backwards?? Wait so what happened to the part where you use the force of the smash and reverse it? What's the point of squating backwards? Wouldn't a regular 2 handed underhand be easier with the same result? Or a forward crouch 2 handed underhand?

Tsubame Gaishi, okay, he added more spin. That's fine.

true but they bothered explaining how they would work in a theoretic non-probable fashion.

Now they just say "oh suddenly the ball jumps to the side. Don't ask me."

Its called a sidespin instead of a backspin.

how does it go flying straight up into the air if it's doing side spin. Side spin = boomerang snake.

A less oblique sidespin than the boomerang snake. Think more like something between a back and side spin, a diagonal spin if you will.

Then again, who am I to talk about the technicals of tennis, and abilities that are most likely impossible at that?

Kirin Otoshi = 2 handed Higuma. Why use this? Because he was getting his ass kicked by Tachi's smashes and would lose terribly if they played a set.

Hohou Gaeshi... if it slices more, then it'd have to land deeper. I'm surprised you saw this as ''making sense.''

And yes... I agree that Hakuryuu is just some kinda diagonal spin (an insane one)... cause I've tried to do stuff like that (and can do it), but not without the insane side curve or accuracy.

All Fuji's shot require an extreme amount of spin that you probably cannot accomplish in a normal realm of tennis. Lol.

Maybe it wasn't more spin but a tighter spin, so it dropped faster. Don't ask me, I'm not quite sure of it myself.

There are alot of other threads out there discussing Fuji's moves. >.<
