Thread: State of Self Actualization?

what is the state of self actualization? I just saw the episode 6 for the national championship chapter. And tezuka used it. I did some research wikiing it. I found that there are three levels of state of self actualization. First is what tezuka did. pinnacle of hard work/ (magma effect?). Second, is pinnacle of perfection. So far only one is capable of obtaining this. Echizen Nanjiroh. The next person who is believed or considered to obtaining this is Kintarou Tooyama. So i am wondering what is the third stage of state of self actualization? Who will achieve this? Also, was there a match that demonstrated how effective 2nd lvl of state of self actualization did?

The State of Self Actualization (aka Muga no Kyouchi) is indeed based on three levels.

The first is The Pinnacle of Hard Work (aka Hyaku Ren Jitoku no Kiwami) which you saw Tezuka use. It concerntrates the Muga (Self Actualization) form into the user's arm and is able to return shots at many times the speed and many times the power and many times the spin of the original shot. But it does have a good point, it doesn't tire you out as easily.

The second is The Pinnacle of Wisdom (aka Saiki Kanpatsu no Kiwami) which speeds up the brain function of the player and enables him/her to see the possible ways that the game can go and eliminate the impossiblities and therefore practically allow you to /know/ where, how and what your opponent is going to hit back at you. Chitose uses this in his game against Tachibana. He is the one who provides the most information about the Muga forms. He also states in his match that just opening the doors to the forms is exhausting. According to that, it appears that no one has fully stepped through a door.

The third and the ultimate level (which compared to the normal Muga form is like comparing 1st and 2nd Muga form to normal form ^^" I hope I'm still making sense) is The Pinnacle of Perfection (aka Ten'i Muhou no Kiwami). Apparently, according to the manga, only Echizen Nanjirou has been able to open the door to that Muga form. But now it seems like the Super Freshman, Touyama Kintarou, is extremely close to opening the door to this Muga form.

But according to my understanding, there's another level of Muga, a lower level, like the one Echizen, Akaya etc. reached (in Manga version). For example, in the game Akaya played Fuji (Manga only) he reached a Muga level but obviously wasn't any of the three forms because he wasn't in full control of his Muga (ie. he wasn't playing consciously. His mind was using all the techniques that were used against him in matches before and applying them to the current game). Apparently, once you're in control of your Muga, you can reach a Form (or so runs my theory ^^").

It's also noted in the Manga that Muga is extremely fatiguing to the player who uses it. Note in Sanada VS Echizen match (Manga), Echizen is extremely tired after his Muga form. Also, in Akaya's game, he faints after using Muga for the first time. If I remember right, Echizen also does that, when he first used Muga against Akaya in a 'friendly' game somewhere.

XD I hope that makes sense. I honestly liked the Manga better in the Muga sense. They cut it all out of the Anime... Till now~ XDDD

Anyway, I can't wait till Sanada and Yukimura show which Muga forms they have. XD

Oh, by the way, only five (by my memory) Junior High players have reached Muga or the Forms; Sanada, Yukimura, Chitose, Kirihara and Echizen. It's never actually said outright that Kintarou is able to reach Muga, only hinted. But if you want to include him, that makes six. XDDD

after reading this i have a lot of questions:
1) the forms you mean are the three you descibed??
2) what esp/genius does Chitose uses the state of self-acti ??
3) whats normal form???
4) and what esp/genius did kintarou does the self-acti

another question i want to ask is if chitose can use pinnacle of wisdom. does that mean he can use pinnacle of hard work as well? Since pinnacle of wisdom is 2nd lvl of muga form prior to 1st lvl pinnacle of hard work. or is it different people have different muga set for them if they can achieve it.

Hm.. the Muga no Kyouchi only means three different doors/forms. I think each door requires different skills and levels in order to achieve, but just because Chitose ahcieved the 2nd door of Muga, that dont nessary mean he knows the 1st door, i dont think at least, i think he has the skill required for the 2nd door but maybe not 1st. But according to the manga, Chitose does not know the 1st door.

I dont get why he says Kinatrou has a close chance in achieving the 3rd door though, even if he is super strong, Echizen has a father who is a legend that has achieved the 3rd door, and probably all this training that Ryoma gets at home with his dad is all preparing him and getting him ready to open the 3rd door during the nationals or in the future.

The State of Self Actualization itself is the lowest form. That is when you are limited to just copying your opponents techniques for your own advantage when you are at your limit.

The people who reached the SoSA are as everybody said, Sanada, Yukimura, Echizen, Kirihara, etc. However..

Once you achieve this, SoSA that is, You can go even further. 3 doors lie in your path lets say. 1 door on your left 3 feet away, 1 on your right 3 feet away, and 1 in the middle 100 feet away from you. For example:

When you reach SoSA, you can evolve to choose which of these doors you will go to. Tezuka chose the right door, and Chitose chose the left. Instead of choosing them, Echizen and Kintarou are working harder to achieve the hardest door to open.
