Default RikkaiDai Fuzokuchuu Vs Nagoya Seitoku

Who do you think will win? And, do you think that Takeshi Konomi will publish their matches in the manga? They seem pretty interesting...

I go for RikkaiDai... I'm guessing pretty much everyone will *cough*couch*Fayte*cough*LBM*cough* but a surprise team going for the finals would certainly be interesting. [NOT]. I really really want to see Tezuka Vs Yukimura [If it happens], Fuji Vs Sanada [Ditto] and Echizen *cough*cough*dying*cough* against Akaya [...].

I think we'll only be shown the matches if Rikkaidai are going to win by a tight margin. Otherwise, they'd just show us the end results to show how strong the winning team is (three 6-0 if it's a Rikkaidai win, two 6-0 except 6-2 for Sanada's loss in Singles 2 if it's a Nagoya win).

I'm really hoping that Konomi will only use the foreign exchange players to show us how strong Rikkaidai have become.

Haha, that was funny. Coughing like that. Haha.

Sure, I am a Rikkai fanboy, but come on. This isn't a question of who will win. Rikkaidai has to win; because it follows drama in storytelling. If a random foreign team wins out of nowhere (not to mention, they already did the foreign team thing in the fillers), then it would throw everyone for a loop, and we will probably never get to see Yukimura play. It would be simply absurd.

I agree with LBM. It would seem a foregone conclusion that Rikkaidai would win. Maybe the matches would be ala the Kantou All-Stars vs. US Team to make them interesting.

Scenario: What would happen if indeed the Nagoya team wins?

Oh, I have a backup plot for that.

The day after the match (3 straight sets for Nagoya), the Nagoya guys are talking about how pathetic Japan's 1st seeded junior team is, when Yukimura arrives and announces that he'll challenge whoever so wishes (he didn't get a chance to play as the matches ended with Singles 2).

The Nagoya guys ask why they should accept the challenge of a weakling, and Yukimura replies that it was his fault that Rikkaidai lost since he insisted on all the members wearing weights during all their matches. He then proceeds to wipe the floor with the Nagoya players one after the other (of course we only see normal shots and the results), only breaking a sweat against their best player... And incidentally, he's still wearing his weights.

Nagoya withdraw from the tournament after that humiliation and Rikkaidai progress as lucky losers.

    >_>; <_<; What, at least we get to see Rikkaidai play the finals!

Interesting turn of events. But what if the Nagoya team still decides to push through? End of story?

im going out... saing that Rikkai will loose...
well... if rikkai would beat this new team why would konomi go out of his way in even mentioning the opponents and that they are all transfer students... it seems unneccesary and pointless...

    and for Babii Boo
in the match against fuidomine we never say tachibana play a full game...
i guess we wont see yukimura face any of the seigaku regulars...
maybe konomi will stick him in there and show him face one the Nagoya Seitoku top player like when tachibana faced chitose

i would rather have seigaku play rikkai so i hope all you guys are right

Uh, then we employ Hiruma from ES21 to get Rikkaidai into the finals! End of story!

But if Nagoya really have to play in the finals, I guess we'll have to have more character development on their players, maybe a rival for Echizen from the States.
