regardless of the results between these two teams.. i think Konomi-sensei had done a smart move here

if he didn't mention anything about Nagoya.. we are all 100% sure that Rikkai will be Seigaku's opponent in finals... no surprise factor. But by outlining that Nagoya is a team of foreign players.. he made us curious.. will Rikkai be able to beat Nagoya...

so at this point... the focus of this manga is not only in Seigaku's match.. but we are all also curious to find out the results of Rikkai match.. more intense.. especially for Rikkai's fans.

btw.. i want Rikkai to win this matchup..

If Rikkai doesn't win, then we can't see Tezuka or anyone else playing against Yukimura. Why? Well... he doesn't seem to be the kind of person who will play serious matches outside of official ones. Look at what he said to Atobe when he got challenged.

Rikkai Dai wins... just because I want them to.

Nagoya win? keh! absurd. If Sengoku won against somebody on Nagoya, What chance do they have against Rikkaidai? Sengoku cannot beat anybody on Rikkaidai.

The thing is Yamabuki probably didn't take on any of the members in Nagoya currently taking on Rikkaidai as their lineup completely changed after Yamabuki's match. All their member (i.e. the exchange students) are probably stronger than what faced Yamabuki so we still don't know much about them except they defeated their quarterfinal opponent 3-0.

i only just realised that Rikkai is playing their match OUTSIDE, whereas Seigaku is playing their match inside a stadium.

Maybe Rikkdai is called the "best team" in the manga/anime but there isnt that much said about them, it's usally Hyotei and Seigaku that are the "main" teams. Well seigaku no doubt, but Atobe seems to be e.v.e.r.y.w.h.e.r.e.. >=C
Ok, ok Kirihara was mentioned a lot of times at the beginning too, but i personally think that isnt enough!
