Not really, look at the matches between Seigaku and Shitenhougi. Fuji had a tough match and lost. Momo and Kaidoh had tough matches. Taka-San's match was ridicuously tough, he broke his ribs and cracked his skull or something like that. Then Tezuka mopped the floor with Chitose when he opened two doors taking 6 straight games.

If they want to hype up Yukimura even more and truly want to show him as a threat then having him win without losing a point would be good IMO. Then maybe even Tezuka himself could talk about his skills, Yukimura and Sanada knew about Tezuka's Pinacle of hard work so maybe Tezuka knows about Yukimura's techniques as well.

But you think Tezuka would have said something about Yukimura if he knew something. But then again, Yukimura and Sanada didn't say anything about Tezuka until they watched him. I sure hope Konomi-sensei shows us the rest of the Rikkaidai match. It's going to take Ryoma and Kintarou a while to finish anyway.

Wait, have they said who's playing singles 1 yet? Is it Sanada or Yukimura?

No they haven't told us who is playing Singles 1. I think it will be Sanada and we'll have to wait a bit more to see Yukimura play.

No, no, they haven't said anything about singles 1 yet, so they probably haven't gotten there yet (thankfully).

I agree with you on how PoT doesn't make much sense, at least in terms of how they play--it just throws suspension of disbelief out the window. So if Tooyama could make someone forfeit in one game, and Gin could almost kill Kawamura with the lower 1/4 of the 108 Hadokyuu (which would mean that the final one would probably destroy a few buildings), then Yukimura not losing one point doesn't see that farfetched to me. So I'll have to side with AvatarST on that one.

In any event, I'd love to see him stomp some Nagoya ass one-sidedly, and I really hope that the author lets Seigaku (and us) see him in action.

Yeah... I'm still wondering what Gin could do with a level 108 Hadokyuu. He broke Taka-san's ribs.... What the heck... A level 108 must be the equivalent of getting hit by a speeding car or something.

Thanks for the info, gigantor. I've seen people talking about Sanada crushing Nagoya, and I've seen people talking about Yukimura crushing Nagoya. Just making sure I didn't miss anything.

The ones in the early twenties looked like that to me, since he flew dozens of feet into the stands when he got hit by them. That's something only the high-speed impact of a car could do. I assume that the 108th is more than 5 times as powerful as those, so it must be like getting hit with a plane or something, which must be loads of fun. We'll probably never know for sure, though.

No problem. If you need to know anything else, feel free to ask.

does anyone think that maybe the series will continue after the natl tourney? perhaps rikkai dai has a close win over nagoya, and the foreign exchange students make some lame excuse and go home. then, seigaku beats rikkai dai in the finals.. lifes good. then he can have something like the junior senbatsu like in the anime... featuring the foreign exchange students from earlier.. wouldn't that be pretty cool? itd also explain why he introduces them w/o getting rid of rikkai dai...

of course, ill be proven completely wrong if rikkai dai loses. that would really suck tho.

I never thought about that. I highly doubt that would happen, though. That would be fun to see. Konomi-sensei might have just introduced Nagoya to be a myserious team that no one knows about.

*Seigaku walks in on Rikkaidai vs Nagoya last point*

    (Crowd in total shock)

*Seigaku's eyes widen as they observe the court*

    Sanada: *grin* "Pinnacle...of Perfection..."

"Game Set and Match! Rikkaidai Fuzoku's Sanada! 6-0!"

*Sanada laughs as the huge aura around him subsides*

Sanada: "If you try to fight with Rikkaidai, you will fall with despair."

(Ryoma sweating with eyes wide open)
