Who is your best team captain?
It's up to you whether you vote because you like the one you chose as a player or because you think that he is a good leader of his team.
I'm putting Yukimura because even if we still haven't seen him play, we've seen him twice or so sitting on the coach bench in the manga.
I voted for Shiraishi because he's a captain who leads his team by starting with himself: on his match with Fuji, he wanted to carve a win for his team because he wanted to set an example for his team mates.
umm... where's the poll anyway ??
You were too early. Haha. :D
LOL xD i chooseee..... TEZUKA! Even though it seems like he always have his attention on Ryoma, he is actually helping him to play his "own tennis", it was disapointing though that he was out for half of the matches against other schools, anyways the reason why i dont like/like the other buchou's
Atobe Keigo (Hyoutei Gakuen) = He is okay, i'm guessing as he did help Shishidou gain a regular spot again.
Tachibana Kippei (Fudoumine Chuu) = he went through thick and thin with his teammates.
Yukimura Seiichi (Rikkai Daigaku Fuzoku) = Um... despite his "greatness" that we hear, he was in hospital most of the time so vice captain had to do all the work.
Shiraishi Kuranosuke (Shitenhouji Chuu) = Well he takes control of Kintorou(?) with his "deadly arm ????"
Aoi Kentarou (Rokkaku Chuu) =In the anime, he was randomly picked. But a very kiddy buchou "if this ball hits the net and goes through the otehr side, all the girls will be all over me" XD
Kite Eishirou (Higa Chuu) = He is just creul
Minami Kentarou (Yamabuki Chuu) = *wistles away*
Akazawa Yoshirou (St. Rudolph Gakuin) = Mizuki takes control of him...
i like tachibana as a captain..he is very supportive until all his teammates trusted him so much and eventually trained like hell so he did not get complained from other teams
Shiraishi because he knows that he must win for his team no matter what :p
I really don't like any of the captains, but I find Atobe to be bareable if that's word that I'm looking for to describe him.
We all have different criteria for saying one is the best buchou. I like Tachibana for putting his team/teammates welfare over his (though sometimes I think he over-reacts that his game suffers). Tezuka despite being stoic already demonstrated what he would sacrifice for the team (although I wonder why he did not use his right hand when his left was already in pain - he can also do nitouryou, right?). Atobe,Yukimura and Shiraishi inspire the others because of their abilities and in the process gain their respect. Minami and Aoi are aberrations. I don't know how Minami became captain.
Kite Eishirou cared for his team a lot. Even though they were all violent, that was more because of the coaches influence. Kite helped them all become better players; it showed this better in the anime.
Plus, Kite is freaking awesome! Tezuka was probably the only one that could beat him at the time. Fuji didn't even start trying in his match until he started using the 4th counter, so he might have been able to take on Kite. Ryoma couldn't do it; Kite just had too many different techniques. Inui would have been the only other player that could have had a chance against him.
I voted for Yukimura. Even if we haven't seen him play, Rikkaidai were the champions for many years and he is the leader.
