Alright, chikkychappy, you can have your words and I can have my words. I don't want to quarrel with anyone in this forum.

The worst buchou, I would say Rokkaku's captain. He is selected randomnly by his coach. He is never a good buchou to start off. He is too confident in his tennis that he always let others to score a lot from him in the starting and planning for a come back later. He should show a great leader's style by confirming his team's win first rather than just for his own joy or pride.

Lol. That's what I said, too. I think Saeki would be a much better captain. I think the second worse buchou would be Akazawa... Mizuki totally controls the team...

    Tachibana is the best captain.

Seigaku has players like Ryoma, Fuji who are excellent singles player that help Tezuka alot. Then they also have Inui, Kaidoh, etc....

Yukimura has Sanda, Renji, Kirihara by his side. They were setting records without Yukimura.

Tachibana on the other hand has grown weaker because he's worried more about developing his team members. He took a non ranked school and got them into the nationals.

Trust me I like Tezuka more then Tachibana but its common sense that Tachibana is the best captain.

I agree with you that Tachibana did really well because he took a weaker team and turned them into a nationally ranked team, but you could make the case that Tezuka (and other captains for that matter) realized that their team didn't need as much hands on coaching and stuck to just motivating them. *shrugs* Just making both sides of the argument... I do that quite a bit.

Did I already replyed or voted in here,I really don't remember but well my vote will go anyway for Tezuka,he is the best! You have a good point there with Tachibana but I don't know,Tezuka also helped his team a lot, because of him the others wanted to become stronger!I still see Tezu as the best,Tachibana comes the second!

Tachibana, hands down. He took no-name players and brought them to the Nationals. He manages to get the absolute best from the six other players just by mentoring them. He gave up the chance to improve his own game and develop cool new moves (unlike most of the other PoT characters--including his own team players) so that he could guide his team.

I don't think it matters that he hasn't groomed his replacement yet. He has six months or so before he graduates after Nationals. Plenty of time to coach Kamio.

*G* To each, his own. Fudomine's my favorite team, so I'll stick by my guns whenever it comes to them. I think their story arc if far more intersting than Ryoma's. I think Oishi and Sanada brought their teams to where they are more than the actual captains did.

Are you kidding? I thought Tezuka was a much better captain than Oishi was. I can't say about Sanada and Yukimura, since I haven't seen Yukimura do much.

Absolutely NO. Oishi can hardly fit to be Seigaku's captain. He can hardly fit the role when Tezuka is away to heal his hand. He can hardly control his team. We can see that Tezuka is a much better taichou.

As for Sanada, well, you can say that he is a bit better than his team leader.
