Yep! Mti, when you beat the mode, you were given one screen similar to the Save/Load game except with a lot more slots, right? That's meant to store your teams for Exhibition Mode.
To use them, when you're picking the player press Square and you'll be put into that storage screen with the teams you've beaten the main mode with.

You went for a really strong team off the bat! Hehe, that's the way. But some of not-so-strong are also really enjoyable to play as.

And nope, the tournament is set for 3 games. :/ Can't change that.

As for unlocking you have;

players -> Ryo Kisarazu, Seiichi Yukimura, Sakuno Ryuzaki, An Tachibana, Haginosuke Taki, Taro Sakaki, Nanjiro Echizen.

modes -> Exhibition, Bowling, Museum (and therefore pics).

variations -> Gold hair Tachibana, long hair Shishido

Saw them, and boy were the results crazy. Atobe beating Jackal was a given, but Renji losing by KO when leading 4-2 against Koshimae? Did Koshimae use Drive A or something? I can't believe it (then again it is Konomi's favourite character). And one of the most anticipated matches for that round, Akutsu vs Niou, geez that was probably the closest one yet (for singles), I mean Akutsu winning 7-5, what happened in that match? Sanada and Yagyuu were both dissappointing though. Sanada losing to Akaya 0-6? He was suppose to be the 2nd strongest of Rakkaidai and one of the three demons, first it was chickening out of a head on challenge in the Nationals and now this, I wonder what surprises Sanada will show us next. Yagyuu, I thought with his Laser Beam he could at least put up a fight against Tachibana, but looks like I was wrong, but at least he managed to get 1 game off him, unlike Sanada. Shishido surprised me yet again with a 6-1 victory over Lucky Sengoku, geez he is so Singles material. Tezuk's victory was no surprise, but Yukimura winning against Momoshiro 6-2 was a little surprise, considering the move range he has, guess they really are useful afterall... Let's see how well he does against Atobe in the next round.

By rising friendship, you do this by listening to your team members during meetings (this is next to useless to us considering we don't know Japanese that well), and through events, but this may have the opposite effect at times depending on your decisions during them. There is also winning matches against other teams and of course you have the training that goes on during the week (but this is more individualistic).

how do i stop players from leaving the team..
On week 19, i had two players (Momoshiro and Marui Bunta) leave the team...
My original team were those two, Tachibanna Kippei (Leader) , Oshitart Yuushi and Shinji

^You need to need to keep your team members happy through doing things that they like (e.g. their favourite training), going out with them, and of course ensuring their relationship with the other team members are favourable. If members suddenly leave, my advice is to reload the game as most times (but I think it's all the time) you can stop them from doing so through changing the way you do things.

I like my current team how it is, and I don't really wanna add anyone..
but would that make them weaker then the other teams?

Glad you're having fun Nekogal, it's a really fun game, too bad most others on this forum don't know what they're missing out on...

Unforunately, you need at least 4 members by the 20th week, otherwise you'll end up with random members that aren't modified. For example, when I couldn't recruit anymore than 2 members while experimenting with Kisarazu (Atsushi) as leader, by the 20th week Kisarazu (Ryou) decided to join the team to make up the numbers. So, even though you only have 3 players now, you'll eventually end up with at least 4 anyway, plus it'd be weaker if you have one untrained player while you could've had 4 fully trained players.

Increasing friendship between team members can be done through various methods, the most common is to pair them up for the double matches (you'll need to do this via practice matches prior to the 20th week so that they friendship is at a high level before the tournament). Certains events that can occur throughout those 20 weeks also contribute to increased (or decreased) friendship between members, but the FAQs address these queries. Although the links to these were posted earlier, to save time here they are:

Yep. Yanagi was owning Koshimae silly until they both got without stamina and Koshimae stuck a Drive A on Yanagi. But it felt even more disgusting as Yanagi was way off the court, and Koshimae's Drive A would be miles out had it not hit Yanagi.

As for Nio vs Akutsu, Nio led 4-1 while he had stamina. Then he lost it, Akutsu still had plenty, and a ton of mishits led to Akutsu's techs being landed. Complete turn around.

Marui had no chance. Jackal even less - he didn't win a single damn point, that's right. Atobe won all games to love.
Kirihara beating Sanada... he'd just use his Concentration every single point and he reached all Sanada's techs. I was shocked to watch what I did, but Kirihara gave Sanada no chance and he's through.

Sengoku is completely dumb. Sure, Shishido is godly. I mean, his Moon Volley-esque move uses HALF THE TECH BAR. On a high level of tension he can do it on about all points. Not to mention his speed boost tech that's nearly for free, he returns everything.

But Sengoku is dumb to heck, I wonder if his AI was made on purpose so that he won't take advantage of being a really strong player - much like on the series! He never hit a single tech, and most of the times he was hitting slow balls to Shishido.

Tachibana is on the extreme opposite, I'd say his AI is way better than the other guys. Even on doubles he can beat opponents nearly single-handedly. He's always ripping opponents apart, even if it's Yagyuu who has the same total on stats (34). It didn't come as a surprise to me.

Yukimura beating Momoshiro wasn't a big surprise, Hiyoshi was a much bigger threat in my opinion. Yukimura, I think, also has a better AI than most of the guys.

And onto Doubles Quarters I'm off today.
