I can see it working when they're older, though... aren't there any fanfics that change the ages around? Even Ecchi-chan x Sakuno fics would scare me if they were set at the present time; twelve-year-olds seem a bit young to be... to be... doing some of the things I've heard about.Quote:

Still... 5 years difference is a good amount. It might work when they're in their 20s or something, but I still think it's awkward. Especially since Tezuka's so mature. Even in a decade.... Tezuka would be 25 and she'd be 20. That's not too bad, but he'd be out of college already, and she'd still be studying.
I'm sure they're important, but there are so many of them! I read Tenipuri in under a week; I don't have time to remember everyone! ^^;;
We've seen teacher-student romances in manga; five years is *nothing* except at the ages they're at now. Honestly, even in five years, it'd be acceptable (or at least when she's in high school). It is a bit of an age difference, but I feel that couple could, at least, work.
Of course, nothing beats Ecchi's parents. They're so cute together! <3 *read the omake chapter today*
I think Tezuka will always be Miyuki's thief-bro. Their relationship is a very serious relationship. Tezuka has always acted like Miyuki's brother, actually his responsibilty makes him seem more like a father. Miyuki treats him only like a bro too; she might see him as more normal than Chitose...<sigh>...another way Chitose loses.
Nah. I think it's cuter to have Miyuki as Tezuka's little sister. She treats him like a brother. Just that in itself would ruin a relationship even when they got older. At least that's what I think.Quote:

Uh.... But it kinda makes him look like a pedophile because she looks so young... >.< I think fanfic writers need to stay away from pairings in general. There is no way you can put romance in a story and not make it seem out of character... You just can't do it...
That's true; in manga like Prince of Tennis, where there isn't any romance, true romance stories wouldn't work unless you made some serious manipulations. The only romance that could work in stories is the one-sided thing that you see from Sakuno, for example, and that's... just what we have in the manga.
