In any case, I don't know why he says "triple counter" when in essence there are 8 counters. The 4 main ones + the evolutions of them.
Maybe now that he has evolved them, he won't use the older versions.
I want Fuji to face Sanada too. It would be awesome to find out how his triple--alright, counters would fare over Sanada's FuuRinKaZa. I believe Kirin Otoshi can counter invade like fire (at least we've seen Atobe counter Echizen's invade like fire--in SoSa, of course--with the Higuma Otoshi).
As for Fuji vs. Sanada, I think it will happen as its Sanada's 4 attacks vs. Fuji's 4 counters. All of Fuji's counters are mainly defensive, except for Gatekeeper of the Hekatoncheires, as they all require the ball to have specific conditions that the opponent has placed on the ball and some environmental ones for White Whale and While Dragon, but it seems that Gatekeeper of the Hekatoncheires and Dragonfly Illusion can be done under almost any condition. Although Fuji really has 8 counters, Sanada probably has 4 better versions of his attacks as well, and there’s the fact we haven't even seen 2 of them.
Wonder if Fuji will do a reverse Phoenix return later on, like he did a reverse Swallow return in the Anime. I know it's not cannon, but that would be badass.
All his new counters were awesome! I was relaly amazed. The reverse Phoenix sounded cool ^^.
sanada versus fuji will be so cool....hopefully that's what it would be for the finals...i think he deserve more recognition than ryoma or tezuka at the moment, not to say i don't like them (i do!!!)...just for the moment, whatever fuji did precedes the other two!!! woohoo
Uh a match between Sanada and Fuji would be pretty one-sided:
Fuji would beat Sanada easily.
Sanada's playstyle is the one the enemy is weakest against (again Kirihara the Fire one, against Renji the Wood one...).
So against Data-Wood, Power-Fire, Insight-Mountain and (whatever Playstyle Ryoma has)-Wind (by the way Sanada used both Wind and Fire because Ryoma is a Allrounder with Power and whatever Wind is used against). Ryoma defeated Sanada with a change in his playstyles and Atobe with using a much higher level.
So all Sanada is doing is to destroy the strongest playstyle of his enemy, but Fuji is the genius of countering, a playstyle that is impossible to destroy for Sanada.
Actually Sanada might had a chance against Fuji if they had played before the match against Shiraishi, but against the evolved Triple Counters, the Forth and the Final Counter, Sanada is sure to lose.
The only match that Fuji ever regrets is the one against Shi - (?)
Therefore if he was to face sanada, he would give it all his got to get back his lost on his previous matches.
Fayte, I somewhat agree with you. I mean, we haven't been able to see Sanada really play a tough opponent, since Echizen. I think that it would be pretty difficult to tell who would win. Both players rely on countering their opponents. Fuji relys on actual shots, while Sanada relys more on a specific play style to counter his oppponent.
Ryoma had to win sanada, it was already decided, Ryoma cant lose ~.~ which in my opinion Sanada should've won. As for Sanada vs Fuji, i think that this will be more of a realistic, exciting match that is a "must-see". I mean, we all know Fuji's great skills (even though he does not show it) lets see how well he would do when we see Sanada's true skills as well. He only use 2 of his special moves (and one other against Atobe) but the final one is yet to see.
AH! i just realised, Fuji has quadruple counter and Sanada has his FuRinKaSa (?) Maybe each move emperor uses would be counter by the genius?
