It's because he was the guy who kept Tezuka on the team, remember? After that, he's gotta get kicked off for Horio or Arai.

Lol xD
Funny how Fuji can perform 2 new counters (4th and final) in just 2 days time. I guess all that hard work before the nationals is starting to pay off.
There's a lot of hype going for Fuji vs Sanada, which would be incredibly awesome, but I'd rather see a rematch of Fuji vs Shiraishi before that happens. Shiraishi never showed any of his special techniques, which will probably be another impossible God-like move, and it might be a little more realistic. The way Fuji lost was just so ...blah. It doesn't seem like he should have lost either, so it could've been fancier.
Plus, I just wanna see Fuji win the second time.
After reading all the board posts, I completely forgot what the topic was/ XD
Fuji's ball was out when he lost to Shiraishi was it? Well, at least he upgrade his triple counters, but Shiraishi is strong ^.^ See? He wasn't sweating at all on the first 5 games but Fuji was er - basically his sweats were abnormal. So yeah... But i think seeing another Shiraishi * Fuji match would not be as interesting, in other words boring, well my opinion anyways. Sanada and Fuji? We'll just have to wait for the finals.
I don't think seeing another Fuji vs. Shiraishi match would be boring. I think it would be fun to watch. During the first match, Fuji was still developing his fourth counter. With more experience, he might be able to hit it more accurately, thus not hitting it out. Plus, once Fuji practices the upgraded counters, those will be better as well. I agree that Fuji and Sanada would be an intersting match to watch.
Theres nothing to upgrade for the 4th counter, it's just stopping spins on a ball. The hakugei was out becuase he did it so close to the net. And i dont think theres anything to upgrade for the final counter - he's just adding more spin.
Who knows, maybe an upgraded Gatekeeper won't even let the ball touch the net.
