It's a PoT film that stars real actors. It came out in Japan last May but the DVD came out only last month.

It's good and bad. Good in the sense that it brought the series into life: the effects weren't that bad and the actors were quite good and some of them very much resemble the characters in the manga and anime (especially Ryoma and Tezuka, Kaidou, Nanjirou in my opinion). Bad because the whole plot from the beginning to the first Hyoutei match was crammed into two hours which left little room for character development, although you won't need that if you're already a fan of the series.

Can someone who have already downloaded it and is kind enough post a mirror? Thanks in advance!

i kinda agree with what you say, it's both good and bad at the same time....i know its kinda of pathetic to say it, but i'm just happy that they make in into a live action movie, but yeah, 2 hours is just too short to actually utilise the full hyotei-seigaku arc....and well, the way they portray ryoma with his team mates were not what i would have imagined it to be, it looked a bit strained in my opinion
