Yup i agree. Would you rather play a sport that'll give you stress or play a sport that's fun? I pick fun. If i did belong in the PoT world, i would never pick Rikkai as my school, even though i like them so much. Seigaku seems friendly. ^^

Yeah, I want a team that's fun, but I also want a team that's good. Having Ojii as a coach seems fun, but the team kinda sucks...... That's not interesting either. Seigaku seems to strike a balance.

But Seigaku had to win against Rokkaku. Besides, Rokk(haha) was last year's runner's up in the Kantou, this year they were 3rd place because of Seigaku. So come to think of it, they're not that bad. OK, maybe they were out the first round in the nationals tournament, but thats because Seigaku had to find another 'strong' (Higa and strong? HAHAHAHA) opponent, and at least they were in the nationals, St Rudolph didnt even get to go to Kantou. So Hyotei and Seigaku faced each other again, thats because they're old rivals, and they're going to face Rikkai (i hope) again in the finals... well my opinion anyway. Rikkai, Seigaku and Hyotei are like the 'big three' in Kantou.

@Babii-Boo: Y'know, I was just thinking about this the other day too; some people probably do like them, but not so much because like you said, they forgot about them since they were the first team that Seigaku really faced after Fudomine. Dane Ducky boy is Yanagisawa, and yeah, he is pretty cool. Yuuta's adorable and he's a good character, and Mizuki, yeah <3 I adore him, he's my favorite character in the entire series because he's got all these weird, quirky traits but he's so evil (at least, he tries to be).

I'd rather play a sport for fun, too. To be honest, St. Rudolph takes themselves too seriously at times as well, especially Mizuki, who's like… obsessed with winning. I definitely agree that Seigaku is the team that seems to enjoy the sport for the fun of it the most.

I'm just wondering, didn't Rokkaku finish 4th in the Kantou tournament as they lost to Fudomine in 5 sets in the manga?

Back to the poll, I'm for Hyotei as I agree with the ideal that the winners should be promoted and the losers discarded from the regulars. As you can guess from this comment I'm a believer in Gekokujou as well!

Sure... Maybe discarding the losers and promoting the winners puts the strongest players at the top, but it doesn't do well for developing a player. It really hurts their self esteem. Sure it encourages them to work hard, but at what cost? It develops hostility between the person who lost their spot and the person who got the regular spot. It doesn't exactly encourage team bonding either.

Welcome to the world of badasses my friend; the world I live in. It's not about bonding with friends, it's about winning. Well my personal preference is a strong team over a friendly team and bonding and loss of teammate's self esteem are only small prices to pay to reach the top. All schools only employ the best, Hyotei's coach just applied more pressure by making it a rule that regulars are dropped if they lose to a non-regular. If the regulars are good enough to hold those position they hold then they'll have no problem adhering to that rule. Like all my other posts this is only my perspective.

    @ war-minded_otaku with post number 45:
Lol now that you mention it, they did. I remember it was Saeki that lost and Fuji said to him that he was unlucky during the training camp with Rokkaku. So they are fourth place, totally forgot about the dark horse Fudomine.

    Hyoutei all the way~

They got a lot of good players, and really, who can resist Atobe? *laughs* I'm a little dissappointed when they lost to Seigaku again. They players have improved a lot, and guh, Atobe's new look.. *spoiler?* Can wait to see it =D
