This is kinda the counter for.... everything? Even if someone achieves passing the ball over the net , Fuji has 4 counters awaiting for the shot...

    I wonder if there's a Kagerou Zutsumi phase 2...

FMI, but i'm not into legendary creatures...could someone tell me what is a Hekatoncheir?

Thanks for the scanlations. Fuji is not called a genius for nothing. Is this the counter of all counters? Let us see if someone can seal it.

Hekatoncheir is supposed to be an uncommon card from Hecatomb TCG : Last Hallow's Eve but I can't find any other info about it.

The final counter is called "The Gate of Hecatonchires." And you guys were right. It puts so much spin on the ball that Shiraishi can't make his shots go over the net.

I think it can be countered by the fourth counter: Kagerou Zutsumi.

Haha... I was so right... and I cant even read Japanese.

Fuji's thing shoulda been gate of ... that one thing in FMA. cause I see a lot of references to gates that start with the letter O and all sound familiar.

well.. time to dl that sucka. ^_^.

So what is "The Gate of Hecatonchires" in Japanese translation? and the statement of "reversing the wrist and use the other side and doubles the spin again" means you change from backhand to forehand or something?

It means he flips the racquet right when it gets to the top, turns his wrist, and uses the reverse side's bottom and runs the ball down that, too.

somehow, gate of Hecatonchires just doesn't seem as great as Kagerou Zutsumi. Kagerou nullifies the Hecatonchires... and just didn't seem returnable until Shiraishi's appearance.

pretty mcuh the counter is slicing using the one side of the racket until it get to the rim then quickly flip to the other side of the racket and do a full slice without the ball bouncing off, crazy!
the 4th counter counters this mother of skilsl is weird though

isn't kagerou Zutsumi a counter of fuji's as well?!? or am i wrong...heh~looks sheepish~ does that mean fuji's latest counter can only be "counter" by his own counter? ahahha, does that make sense? err, i should probably stop now before i get myself confuse...

wouldn't this counter be useless against that guy from rokkaku who hits the ball without any spin? i think his name was Itsuki.

No. Even if he didn't put any spin on the ball, there would still be so much on Fuji's that it wouldn't matter.

And Fuji may not be the only person able to return this ball... Sanada's Fuu Rin Ka Zan might also be able to do that. Rin and Zan haven't been shown yet, but we know he beat Atobe and some other guy with them... granted that Atobe came back and kicked his ass, but that doesn't matter.
