^I know, the song was totally random and seemed like a cheap way to ignore dialogue.
The only good thing about the chap was Kaidoh becoming the captain, but Echizen's returning the Samurai drive and him going to New York was as retarded as ever.

    At least its over.

Well, at last Ryoma has finally reached the level of top pro like his father. To me, it is a satisfying ending since Seigaku team did win the nationals.
Ryoma has also surpassed all junior high tennis players (like Tezuka, Fuji, Chitose, Kintarou, Sanada, Atobe etc.) since he beat Yukimura and opened all three doors of Muga.

I just hope that there will be an extra chapter to tell us what happens to the third year regulars. For instance, Tezuka, Sanada, Atobe and Yukimura may enter the world of pros, while Inui and Renji may end up in the same high school. I have read some fan fictions about it, but I would love to read one from Konomi himself.

you can wait for konomi to draw on the blackboard of some random high school 10 years from now to see whatever happened to the others, just like what the author of slam dunk did recently

i was half-expecting ryoma to end the manga series by saying mada mada dane, that'd have been a better last line, in my opinion

^but isn't that the same with Slamdunk where the last line is Sakuragi's 'I'm a genius' line?

actually, the ryouma line is a reference to the first chapters when he ask for instructions to the father of that kid...

i think that you could say that its a "clasic Ryouma" line...

and stop mixing slam dunk with POT... it`s insulting for the greatest sport manga ever

still can't believe PoT ended like that. Uh, kinda hate the ending. Just like Urameshi said earlier, the matches are becoming very short in the final.

Well, it's much of a surprise to see Kaidoh became the captain, well, actually hope that Momo would be the captain.

    LOL hey guys.

We hated the ending just as much at MH, for the same reason--it was a lazy, incomplete joke of a last chapter. He didn't do anything special with it. Honestly, I think one of us could've done better, because we seemed to take the series more seriously than Konomi by the end. :/

Well, I'm just glad I don't have to follow it anymore. The OVAs are WAY better.

So what are you guys gonna do now? Are you following any other series?

I do agree that the ending was a big let-down. Sloppy ending. Maybe Konomi was asked to wrap things up ASAP. It dragged too long.

We can only hope the anime/OVAs won't end as bad. If you are to end it, what would you do?

^ Well, I won't even get into the match.

As far as everything after that goes, I'd have just shown more of everything:

    - How Seigaku celebrated the victory.
    - Whether or not the Ryoma x Sakuno pairing was consummated in any way.
    - The fates of every team Seigaku faced, and individual insight into each Seigaku regular.
    - A flash forward to Ryoma's adulthood, showing him and several other players in the pros.
    - Ryoma facing his Dad again, and winning. Preferably after the timeskip.

Anyone want to add to the list?
