The anime doesn't show what racquets the players use.

The manga... all the racquets that the main players use have already been decided. Echizen uses a Breuline Grandea, Sanada a Babolat Drive.

If you look at the color pages, you can kinda figure out what racquets they're using. Also, at the beginning of the series, in the volume releases, there were extra pages talking about the players, and one of those talked about things was what racquet they used.

If Echizen gets a door against Tooyama... it won't do much good. Hyakuren will probably get him to almost even hitting with Mr. gene freak, but him getting perfection would piss me off.

Ok I take back what I said about Konomi not milking the series more, and also about what racquets Echizen and Eiji were using. I was completely wrong.

I have seen the balls read dunlop; I haven't read too many of the color pages though so I didn't notice the racquet design.

I found the racquets the Seigaku players use off of Prince of Tennis Domain:

    Inui Sadaharu - Prince
Kawamura Takashi - Dunlop (Rimbreed XL)
Fuji Syusuke - Prince (Michael Chang Titanium) I think this fits Fuji since Chang and Syusuke are both counter type players
Oishi Syuichiroh - Wimbledon (Tour Merit)
Echizen Ryoma - BRIDGESTONE (DYNABEAM GRANDEA)
    Momoshiro Takeshi - Mizuno
Tezuka Kunimitsu - MIZUNO (PRO LIGHT S90)
    Kikumaru Eiji - Dunlop
    Kaidoh Kaoru - Head (TiS7)

Not only are the Seigaku players associated with real world racquets, but Konomi has shoe brands for them as well.

I think even in the manga section they slip in a few details about their racquets used. Just too lazy to read back... Anyway, RogSqdLdr, thanks for your information.

I think it's interesting to know exactly what racquet they use. ^.^ I actually went through the manga and started a list. I had too much time on my hands. I think they actually say exactly which racquet they use in some of those profile pages. I also like looking at which shoes they have. I also like how they all have differnt brands of bags.

In some profiles and even in the manga, they even list favorite snacks and the blood type. Not sure about the significance, though.

That makes sense since the right handed Twist Serve is used when he is playing against right handed players.
