I would want to see that happen. Nagoya(?) could have some cool members and mayb put on a real fight against seigaku. Shitenshouij(I know it's spelled wrong) could play rikkaidai then for the 3rd place

argghh.. wat is it about this match.. does konomi has a grudge against chitose or something.. his moves shouldn't be beaten that easily.. this makes it seem that tezuka is really like a god of tennis or something.. is it saying that tezuka can beat people like tachibana very easily? arggh.. i hate this match

Hahaha...I just read the raw and translation.

I don't know what's more ludicrous - showing the end of the doubles 1 match so abruptly and having the score being so one-sided, or seeing Tooyama react so quickly that he can overcome his surprise of the twist serve and do this ridiculous backflip gyration for a return ace.

Come on now - in one point I've seen him possess the acrobatic skill of Eiji and Gakuto combined and twice the reaction speed and reflexes of Akutsu.

The circumstances and possibility of that return ace actually happening is something you just pretend you didn't notice - like seeing Eiji's double.

Someone in this forum called Tooyama a "genetic freak"; the guy was absolutely right.

I looked at the raw again - I didn't notice this when Tooyama played Shinji, but that frame makes me think he has a wooden racquet.

I really hate when the author does that with the matches--he'll go through the match point by point, or game by game, and then just abruptly ends the match out of nowhere without any closure at all.

As to Tooyama, I gave up on any real suspension of disbelief in this series a while ago, so at this point it didn't really bother me. It was just badass; thinking about it any more than that will ruin the fun.

*gasps* SUGOI!!! GO TEZUKA-SAMA!!!!!!!!!!! I'M SO HAPPY! AND EXCITED, TOO!! I would have liked to see a longer match, though. ;_; It was so short. I'm glad Tezuka won!

    Go, Kintarou!!! Kick Ryoma's butt.

nope....there was no drama after that...it would have been boring, tezuka creamed him...end of story.

I knew toyama had somthing working for him...hes a freakin monster.Tho him bieng able to hit a twist serve isnt that speacial. The way he did it however...

im glad the ryoma bashers can relax now...lol things happened exactly how i predicted, most be esp. Looks like hes gona loose...well atleast the first games. I dont see how anyone can adjust to that style of play in one game.

Yeah.... It was surprisingly fast. Chitose just got pwned. I thought he would have a comeback or something. He didn't even take another game.

*sigh* Maybe it was rushed because Konomi wanted to get to Ryoma's match faster. Fuji's match was soooo long.... Tezuka's match was so short..... >.< Taka-san's match ended abruptly, too....
