I want to read the manga (not from the beginning) .. Can anyone tell me where to start reading?

chapter 237, that's after Rikkai lost.. but i recommend u to read the manga after hyotei lost.. cus the anime just goes downhill from there..
yeah.. read from like 160..
Thats after the hyotei match much better.
damn i too have finished the anime but the manga is just so much better.
read from the beginning trust me its worth it !
I agree. The storyline of the manga is more robust compared with the anime (even if Konomi claims that he feels that the readers of the manga would not want to see the same stuff in the anime).
another good reason to start the manga in the hyotei chapter is so that u can catch up om what u missed, such as the:
*midoriyama match(nothing special about this one)
* kentaro Aoi vs Kaidoh(rokaku match, i kinda enjoyed this one better than the one with echizen's)
*the extremely super dramtic match of Rikkaidai vs Seigaku(trust me on this one the manga is much more better and cooler)
.................................................. ........
The Rikkai matches in the manga are insane. There's so much drama and all that emotional stuff going on for each match. Not sure how it is in the anime... cause, for the most part, I refuse to watch it. But I hear the anime is stupid compared to the manga.
If you don't feel like reading a useless match [Midoriyama], you can go straight to the real Rikkai matches... or well, right before them, in about 190. Read from 184. It's the start of the whole 'We gotta beat Rikkai' thing. And there's the Echizen vs. Akaya match... which is insane.

Go back to the sT. ruDOLP MATCH TO SEE THE FIRST kAIDOH-mOMOSHIRO pairing (sorry for the caps, just noticed), then skip forward to the Midoriyama game (comes after Hyotei, replacing Jyosei Shounan in the anime) and then skip to the Rikkai Dai game and continue from there.
Anybody seen the April Fool's episode released last year by one of the subbing groups? Ryoma shot himself in the head and died because tennis in Seigaku was supposed to be over. The reason(s) were unclear but a football team was taking over their place. The players have been asked to vacate the court and the clubhouse. Ryoma allegedly got depressed because “tennis was all he had.” Of course it was just intended to refer to the end of the TV series.
Ryoma has no life....
too bad he doesn't die in the manga and let Tezuka get the spotlight more. I'd recommend reading that chapter automatically. ^_^
