If there is an international tournament, the problem wouldn't so much be in who would make the team, but instead in introducing more things that would further the storyline... things like, maybe... advanced forms of Muga apart from the three already revealed. There'd also be a need for tons of new characters, playing styles, abilities, etc.
For a Japan team, though, I'd have Yukimura, Echizen, Tezuka, Inui / Yanagi, and Oishi / Eiji. The orders don't matter... they pretty much beat ALL players... except for the doubles people.
It'd be nice for Tezuka to have a match with Mr. Perfection Samurai Nanjirou. Tezuka'd get killed, but it'll probably still be a good match [like Echizen vs. Sanada].
How about seeing the rise of Seigaku's next generation, showing inprovement from characters like Arai, Kachirou, Katsuo, Horio as well as the leading of Seigaku to nationals by Echizen, Momo, and Kaidoh.
but i think that wouldn't be fun..
i dun like the idea of Horio being a regular, hell i dun like the idea of him winning a match.. he will be a disgrace to Seigaku.. sorry to Horio fans if there is any XD
i think even though they improve.. things would not be the same.. cus if it's me, i'd be going like.. damn, i wish fuji and tezuka is there.. whether they win their matches or not..
and none of the Seigakus are as cute as Eiji, and data freak like Inui
If Horio played, he'd probably win by making people laugh at his face.
If anything else, I'd want to see the Rikkai team with Akaya as leader... cause who the hell's gonna join it after the year is over?
