i like the manga better, the way it presented shots and plot twistes was alot better, but the anime made it easier to understand some things coz well, its in motion unlike still pictures. but the manga is still better, even the art is better.
Manga.
The anime is good but I really didn't like the end of it. They also added techniques in there that the manga didn't hve like cyclone smash or hadoukyu snake. Now in the national series of the anime it'll be weird cause in the manga they had been introduced to self actualization(sp?) from the Rikkaidai arc, but in the anime all they showed was cyclone smash. Also I didn't like how they had the cool drive showed in the nationals instead of against Sanada, where it showed Echizen put everything on the line with that single move.
sry if there are any typing mistakes in this.
Current Obsession-Tenimyu, Tenipuri, Fuji Syuusuke, Tezuka Kunimitsu and Yukimura Seiichi. ^///^
Hee. I'm the only person so far to say that I like the anime better.
What can I say? A big part of why I watch anime is because of the seiyuu. (i.e. someone told me that Vie Durant has a sucky storyline, but I'll go watch it anyway because it's got a star-studded cast.)
Besides, I entered the PoT fandom a little too late for me to start at the beginning of the manga and pick my way through all the chapters -- Genius 294 had been released the day I joined my first PoT community on LJ. It takes a whole lot more time to download the scans and a WHOLE LOT MORE SPACE on the computer (which I don't have) than to go out and spend money to buy the series (which I do have, even just enough).
Now, of course, I've started to follow the manga. Heh. I started with Eiji's Singles2 game, and I'm continuing from there.
(Bu~ut, since TeniMyu is following the manga... ^_^ Maybe...)

dunno.. this is tough.. cus i like the anime better up until the Hyotei part in storyline, and stuff.. after the Hyotei part, i think the manga is better..
but i guess i had to say the manga
I prefer the manga. There are storylines in it that were more interesting and more developed compared to the anime.
I prefer the manga over the anime.
The art of the manga was better than the anime, also, the different fillers the anime had weren't actually that interesting for me in any case. I actually understood the flow of the story much more in the manga. And I'm an Akaya fangirl you see, and I really didn't like how he was portrayed in the anime. They made him look weak near the end of the kantou arc. What happened in the manga was much better.
Although I must say Junichi Suwabe did an awesome job voicing Atobe in the anime. ^^
manga! its more interestin!!
I like anime, see the action
Manga is sometimes mistake
like in chapter2, the can that momoshiro hit is still full of stones which should be not full because ryoma make it out some
.......WTF!!!! the anime had more mistakes than your parents making you and letting u be born and live!!!!(Bwahahahahahahahaha)Originally Posted by nk_devilboy
