Thread: Players who are overrated and ended up dissapointing you

Jirou (Hyotei) > i was expecting this guy to be much stronger when facing Fuji

Hiyoshi (Hyotei) > when they say he's the second year ace or something, i also was expecting more

Oshitari (Hyotei) > sure he can do Higuma Otoshi, but the techniques he showed when facing Momoshiro was total crap.. was expecting cooler stuff

that's all I can think for now.. who are urs?

First year Rokkaku captain. A fuckin crrrraap.
Mmm, lucky Sengoku.
And a supposed Hyoutei´s genius from national tournament, dont remember the name.

the guys from saint rudolph, mizuki, fuji's brother who didn't defeat a single strong oponent and midoriyama who were said to be strong but were totaly destroyed.

the wierd dude from rokkaku who always said nando or why!! total crap player

hmm...jirou from hyotei gakuen...i thought he was so much stronger, but he's only good with twisting his wrist. other than that, he's not much. especially when fuji totally kicked his butt...shame.


Also Fuji's little brother, Yuuta...he's not that great, along side with his captain, mizuki. Mizuki's all talk and gossip. -.- i think he needs more practice and less gossiping.

Mizuki was meant to get his ass kicked. Yuuta... just isn't good.

Jirou, on the other hand, just had the bad luck of going against someopne who didn't need spin as a primary factor in his shots. If he were against Kaidou, the match could have gone in his favor.

and... the martial arts dude from Hyoutei... forget his name... he's a little bit on the bad side... big disappointment when the only thing he could do was to use a different stance.

Fuji the "Genius". When stacked on the same team as tezuka and ryoma, it just doesn't compare

hmm...lets see now, some of the people from Saint Rudolph( by the way Mizuki isnt the captain its the dude with darkskin and long hair), Kakinoki's Captain and manager Kiichi Kuki(the team from the very beginning), Midoriyama(all of them lost like crap), Hiyoshi of hyotei, and some players of Rokaku and Higa

For me, it'd have to be...

Aoi (Rokkaku, captain) -- yeah, there was a reason why he was captain. Yay for weird old man.
Dabide (Rokkaku) -- the puns. XDDDD
The guy who sounds like a train (Rokkaku) -- really.
Mizuki (St. Rudolph) -- I love him to bits, just... He's not really an amazing player.
Hiyoshi (Hyoutei) -- Oh please, that match with Ryoma was over in, like, two seconds. But I love him in the myu.
Kevin -- HONESTLY. I don't think he's a very good player. Especially when he sort of just blanked out and copied everything that Ryoma did.

and finally, one player who's DEFINITELY not overrated but ended up disappointing me so far...

Yukimura -- why? BECAUSE WE HAVEN'T SEEN HIM PLAY. If Sanada is already THAT good and he's only the vice-captain...
