Ryoma is the most boring main character I have ever seen.. he's also the most boring in the show.

Uh... I think Kabaji is more boring. Saying that he's the most boring is a stretch.

beside nekogal, how could you watch POT if you think the main character is boring?!? ~scratch head~ i don't quite get it...i thought this show is about ryoma.
and have to agree with kawaiikitsune there...kabaji is like a stone, no expression, nothing...his like atobe's stone minion (if that make sense.)

Well, you could watch PoT for the other characters. Ryoma isn't my favorite (or even close), but I still watch PoT. Tezuka-sama! *squeals like Tomo*
Lol. When I first saw OVA 11, I was so shocked when Kabaji showed a sliver of emotion. "OMG! KABAJI WAS SUPRISED! EMOTION!"

heh, are we talking about the match against tezuka?!? hahaha
yeah, i was shocked too...i didn't even think that kabaji could actually make a facial expression...huuhu
it just shows that they need someone really 'special' to pull an emotion put of him... ~ahem, go tezuka!!!~ hehe, even atobe couldn't manage anything out of him except an "usu"

Lol. Yeah. I was talking about Tezuka and Kabaji's match. Kabaji got mad, too. Shocking..... I think he said something in the anime, too. Hm.. I need to go back to confirm that.

LOL.. Ryoma = boring person???
I don't see Ryoma as a boring person. He is more of a cocky person with some interesting personality. Kabaji is a lot more boring.
As human being, Kabaji should have some emotion other than just 'ush' to reply Atobe. Konomi should make Kabaji more human.

Lol. I thought it was so funny how the Tenimyu had to give Kabaji a personality. I started laughing. I was thinking, "Kabaji seems to out of character." But then I realized that the actor would just stand there if the script writers didn't give him more lines.

I think @kokusaikone's theory is much more understandable. Yeah, it is probably Ryoma is hiding his emotion. Just when it comes to tennis, he can hardly control his emotion that he sometimes gets too cocky. I bet he is too much excited on tennis.

Tennis has taken over Ryoma's mind. That's my explanation. And the fact that his hormones haven't kicked in. :3
