Wow.....
I can't believe that Tachibana would give up on the Nationals and his team by letting Chitose win
But then again I guess Tachibana was just playing fair.. but wouldn't any other POT player aim for Chitose's weak point if they knew it?

his team had already lost. they bet it all in the first matches and lost. do you think that the less important fudomine players could beat the other guys? he was just doing what he thought it was right. and some players would explore the weak point some wouldn´t, if they noticed it.
Atobe is the only one that come to mind that would aim for the weakpoints of his opponents right off the bat =P.
Do you think that tachibana would have won if he had aimed at chitose's left side? I don't think so... because probably chitose would have used Saiki Kanpatsu No Kiwami before the tiebreaker... he would've gotten the advantage and they wouldnt have entered the tiebreak at all. If most of the Abare Dama are returned with a Kamikakushi the probabilities are that chitose would have won earlier. Thats my point of view...take it or leave it.
I think Tachibana could have won. Chitose did acknowledge that he would not have been able to return Tachibana's final shot if he didn't realize Tachibana was aiming to his strong side the whole match. This was something SKNK didn't predict too well.
I really think it would have been a different match had Tachibana played to win.
Yeah. The score was 5-7 when Tachibana lost. Chitose's ''whatever it was no Kiwami'' only predicted the flow of and the shots taken in their rally (somehow... but I think it just literally tells you a general flow of it so you know what to do). If it did what was in the parenthesis just now, then it would only have been calculating the results if Tachibana kept aiming at Chitose's strong side.
And I thought that it was through a stroke of luck that Chitose managed to return the Abare Dama.

Which made this match suck so much. I've been hankering to see Kippei's real strength because so far, Konomi has given us nothing but snippets of it and then Kippei ended up not giving his all in this match with Chitose. Bleargh.think that Tachiba's style in this match reflected that he was still trying to atone for his past action.
