Default Who is the strongest PoT Player?

Who do you think is the strongest PoT Player you've seen so far? (Without Ryomas father...)
I'm a little bit suprised, that there hasn't been a thread like this already, but I still wants to know your opinion about this topic.

Now here is my ranking:

1. Yukimura or Tachibana (although we've never seen him before.... he has to be very good... but I'm not quite sure about it somehow...).
I'm a big Tachibana fan... so I coercy myself to think that he is the most powerful junior player in PoT so far...

Who strong do you consider Tachibana? I did not understand how good he actually is, because the manga is very confusing at the point of Tachibanas strenght (imho) (is it on Tezuka level? Or higher than that? ).

2. Tezuka ("he is the one who is closest to the pros"). Stronger than Ryoma who is in turn stronger than Sanada. And Sanada is supposed to be one of the strongest, so Tezuka had to be on top of my ranking

3. There are plenty of tennis genius in PoT (like Chitose,Fuji and so on), so I can't figure out who should be number three (maybe Ryoma already...)

Now it is your turn

P.S: sorry about my "middle standard pupil english"...

I'd have to disagree about Ryoma being stronger than Sanada right now. I believe that Ryoma's win over Sanada was a big fluke because Sanada did not look like he was taking it very serious. He still has 2 other moves that he hasn't used.

The strongest POT player has to be Ryoma's father hehe

My list:

The top 5 must be

1. Yukimura
2. Tezuka
3. Sanada, Atobe, Tachibana, Chitose, a serious Fuji
4. Ryoma (wining one match against Sanada and Atobe doesn't mean he is as strong like them, he was only stronger than them in just the match against them (haha), if they met again i'm sure Ryoma lose, but once again he is the main caracther of this manga, so...yeah you know. ), Kirihara
5. Sengoku, Akutsu Jin, the rest of the Hyoutei and Rikkaidai regulars

when u ask for "Strongest" usually its one player. The top is lonely. So far i think tezuka is #1.

Tezuka as far as we've seen.

Just adding Zero-Shiki and Tezuka Zone to his normal accurate and strong shots was strong enough, but with his third move it just goes to ridiculous levels. He could just use Tezuka Zone to draw in any shot and return it with double the effectiveness. So while he's saving his stamina, the opponent has to work very hard to return a shot which is twice what he shot, which he usually can't.

Ryouma has used Zero-Shiki before, but he had to lower his racket by 30cm, compared to Tezuka's 3cm. Same thing for Tezuka Zone, with which Ryouma was only able to slightly change the ball's direction.

The only player we've seen who could use Tezuka's moves perfectly (appart from Nanjiroh's "Nanjiroh Zone"), is Kabaji, and he can only use them against Tezuka.

Yukimura should be around Tezuka's level, but since we haven't seen him play yet, I can't say if he's the strongest.

I'm a little biased when it comes to who I think is the strongest character.

With what's been shown so far, I think Tezuka is the strongest. Even if he lost to Atobe, he didn't "lose" in the real sense of the word. And besides, they say losing makes you stronger or something like that. With his signature moves and his overall skill, I'm thinking he's the only one who can beat Ryoma (even with his imperfect MNK) aside from Nanjiroh.

I'm also interested with Yukimura's skill and I'm looking forward to when he's going to unleash them. I think Sanada gave Ryoma a handicap and that's why he won. I mean, he only used two of his moves, right? I'm giving the second strongest spot to both of them. And maybe I'll place Atobe in second place as well. That World of Ice he has is quite impressive, I think he's on the same level as Sanada himself or maybe better.

Third place goes to Chitose, Tachibana, Fuji, Ryoma and the new pumped up Akaya.

Because the central character is Ryoma, then naturally it'll eventually turn out that he's the strongest player.

Me, though, I think that Tezuka is the strongest. (Probably because he's got insane S-S-S-A-A levels in Smash Hit 2 -- nobody comes close, damn him.)

Maybe it's Yukimura? We haven't seen him play, and if he's the captain and Sanada as fukubuchou is already that good, then he must be someone definitely worth looking out for. He seems so meek and soft, and -- as we saw with the initial presentation of Fuji in the series -- this is definitely not an indicator of skill or lack thereof.

I have my doubts whether Yukimura is in fact a very strong personality, of course relying on the info given in the manga, he supposedly is, but Fuji said that Sanada was WITHOUT a doubt the current best junior player in Japan. Then again Sanada was beaten by Ryoma (although he wouldn't have if he has used Rin and Zan). I don't think that Ryoma is the strongest player in PoT cause Tezuka kicks his ass, but I dont know if Fuji was not including Tezuka or Yukimura in his point of view because of their injuries/diseases.

I DO think that Fuji is the best player in PoT, because of the way he keeps evolving in every match he plays. We never know when he'll pull off a new expectacular counter, and although he's not very strong, he has an impecable style, coldness, down to earth attitude, that makes him come out calmly with a new strategy every time he's in trouble. Hell, he can play blind and stand against a SoSA user.

IMO, I think Nanjiro (Ryoma's dad) is the strongest cause Ryoma still can't win against him yet (I've only read up to chapter 233).
