Thread: POT Nationals

so they finally came out with the POT Nationals anime, does anyone know how many episodes are out in japan? and how often these episodes will be available for d/l, like when each episode will be released?

I believe there are going to be 13 episodes, but currently there's only 1 out in japan. 2 more should be coming next week, so the next subbed episodes might not appear for a few weeks. The next release (2 episodes?) will be ~2months after... so... july? end of july?

Wah!! Long time till the next epis to come out... The manga is faster than the anime.... The latest manga is about vol 30++ where the story is about the national championship...

The nationals can't possibly be crammed into just 13 eps. Otherwise, they'd have to skip one of the matches... or at least shorten all of them.

You're probably right. The thing is though, this is kinda like what happened with um... some series or another. I remember that there was a movie made for some show after all the hype for it died down and its phase as a fad ended. Got barely anything and whatnot. Same thing can happen here. Prince of Tennis is done in Japan (anime wise), and most people watch the anime instead of reading the manga. It may have died down already, meaning that the movie'd be a flop.


*Iono how popular it still is in Japan. This is just my hypothesis.
