>.< I was moritified at the ending of POT anime. It really disappointed me and looked very very cheesy to me! I think the anime had split with the manga in plot wise around Rikkidai match. Yep, sanada and echizen should not have had a practice match before their real match. As well, Echizen's 'Cool drive' was not in the real match and they showcase another technique and...it just didn't appeal to me anymore. But, at least there is an OVA and it seems they are try to change the path to match the manga.
Ya the cyclone smash was just weird.
Neways, i just caught up to chapter 308 in the manga, did alot of reading last night xD. I was wondering how come Ibu Shinji loss? He just forfeit, i dont see why. I realized why sooo many people hate echizen after that Atobe/Echizen match. But I dont want to see Seigaku lose xD(as a team), i dont mind if Echizen actually lose a match for once. I wanted to see a match between Fuji and Kabaji =/, not Tezuka xD.
Shinji lost because he was playing against the ultra-powerhouse Tooyama Kintarou, who's hellza stronger than Kawamura. It even shows how powerful he is when he hit that robber guy, and in the chapter with like... Oishi's cousin, it says he hits a 500 m golf ball with a pretzel-bent iron.
That's why Shinji destroyed his wrist playing him, and why, when Tachibana grabbed it, he shook with pain.
I think that when Atobe and Echizen fell they should have left it at that and had the substitutes (Fuji and that "Magic Volley" guy) play.

Tachibana gonna play Chitose. Hmmm i hope Tachibana wins, they where the top2 players in that area but Tachibana left. I really dont wanna see Tachibana lose, he loss so many matches in series, feels weird especially since he's a top player. Even though he never showed his true skills yet, still weird for him to loss so many matches.
Yeah, it would be nice if Tachibana wins, but I get the feeling the mangaka will go for more drama by making Shitenhouji look as strong as possible.
There in a new anime called Prince of tennis OVA or Prince of tennis nationals
I think that the mangaka should have made Echizen beat Fuji before he played Atobe... I mean, Sanada *is* good, but Echizen also fluked a little. Same here. But I think, if Echizen was going to never, ever lose (because he's the protagonist...*cough*) then at least he should have played someone in between Genkokujyou guy (forgot his name)'s level, and Atobe's level. Next thing you know, he'll be beatting Tezuka and Yukimura 2 on 1. (I really hope that doesn't happen...)
Well, at least we know they're not playing Fudoumine in the semifinals. Well, I, for one, am 99.9 % sure... even if Tachibana wins, they don't have a chance anymore. I guess, that's good, since they're probably going to play Rikkai in the finals (It's my speculation, since Yukimura's known as Junior High's no. 1 and the mangaka would like to make Echizen no.1. Therefore he has to beat Yukimura) and if all the Nationals saga was rematches, then I'd probably fall asleep.
err....i'm sorry to barge in like this but, where did the rikkai match started..?? er..i mean...which chapter..?
coz i haven't start to read the manga but i've finished the anime....(which..well, IS a little dissapointing...)
so i thought i'd give the manga a try....^^
