Thread: Has anyone watch the OVA episodes

i was wondering, has anyone of u guys saw the OVA for the series and the POT movie as well, if so what do u think about, so personally ill start an example:

Movie:
well the movie wasnt completely good, it was kinda dissapointing, the last match between Ryoga and Ryoma would have been better if they didnt use those stupid effects such as those like the ones they shown on Tezuka and Echizens last match in the series, The other seigaku players only played for a short time and it was also disappointing,

OVA(nationals):
well ive only seen the first of the 13 ova series, the drawing of the other characters from higa chu are kinda different but the way how rokkaku lost was the same which involved Kentaroh hitting the net almost all the time but was easily defeated and also about their coach bieng hit by one of the higa chu players, sadly this episode lasted for only about 20 minutes just like the original series i was hoping it woukd be a one hour long episode, i have a feeling that the OVA would also be disappointing

l agree with you there, the movie where they are on the ship had too much effects and l was wondering is there more than the first episode on the nationals because l really want to watch them.

well u can try searching it at the web for the torrent or just get the torrent here there is still only one episode

I dislike the movie like the majority. I felt the special effects was overdone. It was like a tennis ball was being hit from the moon down to earth and back. And they did lack playing time for the other members of the Seigaku players.

Er i think the movie was overdone O.o forsome reason it reminded me of pokemon when mew and mewtoe fight.... i think thts how u spelll it...
have u guys seeen the one where atobe makes a festival ?? and the was ok but too short and i think it kinda forced... lik i mean ryoma into the regulars..... but i still just love Prince of TEnnis

I liked Ryoga, other than that, the movie was just... meh. The anime in general isn't as in-depth as the manga.

I think if they follow the manga for the OVA, like they did for the beginning of the anime, it will turn out all right. But if they have no FuRinKaZan and if they miss-design the state of self actualization, and if they keep in golf swings and the stuff they added on, I don't think it will turn out right.

And what about your thoughts on the upcoming Live Action Movie?
I just dislike Hyoutei's *coughGREENcough* uniforms.

i only watched the first OVA but it was sort of.. weird o_O" it was 'okaaaaay' though <3 && since I'm bored, i can't wait for the other ovas. Uhm. I hope they would be better though.. o_o" Ergh. I dont realy want to watch the Live Action Movie but-- I might change my mind if it ever comes out-- or did it already?

i want to watch the live action movie. it looks so amusing ^^. it came out last week in japanese theatres. it'll be a while before we'll be able to watch it. :S

llive action movie looks cool but i was wondering do the people actually know how to play tennis? i want the uniform ><
